Re: Naish XL surf wing

I kite with the thrust surf medium wing and really like it. I have a surf large and the XL and found the xl to be way too stable. I put the standard rear wing on the xl and it improved the performance. I then cut 1 inch off of each end of the standard rear wing and the xl was way better. Still not ...

Re: Naish XL surf wing

I don’t like the XL kiting. L is better. XL too stiff turning. I could feel no advantage, only negative over L for foiling. Leave the XL for other sports, windsurfing, SUP etc. Hmm, bummer to hear that. I just got an XL but have not tried it kiting (yet). I love the L..the agility is pretty insane ...

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

I'm totally opposite I guess. Been flying Clouds for two years and stopped using all other kites. Tried the Ultra and really didn't like it. Slow and barge-like compared to Clouds. Ultras are not a wave kite, they just don't drift well enough. Once you get REALLY used to the timing of the Clouds (o...

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

I have a Reo 6 V4 and OR Flites 12,10 and 8m V5 If I compair the Reo with my OR Flites, the Reo need much more wind too perform. The gab between the Flite 8m and the Reo 6m is huge. Wish I had a 6m kite with the characteristic of the Flites. I have no idea about newer Reos, but if they are anything...

Re: Cloud vs Reo.

I want to try to do the same .i think the future for freeride hydrofoil is a very light lei. Now a normal inflatable small kite is build to work in a very wide windrange,so it needs reinforcements and a strong structure that makes it heavy. So I think we will see in the future ,for example, small k...

Yup, mine are white also. Im thinking its the AVS ... I coated the wings with glazing filler and sanded them off. Amazing the flaws you find when leveling off new wings....we'll see if it changes its tune....
Are you saying you filled in the AVS.?
That would make them xlXLW wings.

Scaled and ready to cook
I have also run across about 10 odd baby hammerhead sharks and one bull shark. Foils are way too quiet.
