Re: Torch 2018

It's very unfortunate bit I've to agree with what has been said on this thread. I've also been riding the Torch for a decade now and the 2017/2018 models have been a big disappointment imo. Yes the low-end is improved by extending the 5th line but it's still not close to the 2016 model. The 2016 ha...

Re: Ktv or shredtown boots for kiting

Im thinking of getting slingshot shredtown or ktv 2017 or 2018 boots to use with my tona pop board for kiting. Anyone used either? Pros / cons? Is there much difference between the 2017 or 2018 models? Is the ktv ot shredtown more suited for for kiting? Whats the flex like? Weight? Do they fit big ...

Re: Tarifa to Vladivostok

Hi guys, I have a long adventure kind of a trip planned from Tarifa to Vladivostok with a micro camper van. On the way I want to do both kitesurf and snowkite , documenting the activities, locations, interesting moments and editing them in a form of a vlog. It will take approximately 4, 5 months to...

Re: True C kites 14 meters

Hi edt I Think I will go for the 14 RPM. Dash could be an option to consider as well if you want bridled C-ish kite with better low end. BTW Torch 14 is a sweet kite not sure that RPM is much better in LW aspect. It definitely needs proper technique to get the best from it. According to me,it is th...

Thank you Yoda. I may get second hand either, not keen to spend fortune on it.
However, I am looking for comparison between cotan and skater...

RRD Cotan vs Naish Skater. I need some help.

Hi guys, I am thinking to get one of these but I can't find direct comparisons for both boards. The locals are riding mostly COTANs, but unfortunately no Skaters around to compare, or to get some information. I was told, that 5,4 COTAN is probably the best size for the local conditions (chop, onshor...

Re: Ronix frank vs slingshot RAD

It's quite personal thing I guess. Haven't tried Ronix. RAD's are good enough for me. Very nice hardware system which allows the board to flex more. The gummy straps is very clever idea too. Having narrow feet I'm able to tighten the boots as much I want, without the hassle of extra laces. When it'...
