Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

I tried disabling C and then removing it. I saw a slight decrease in stability, particularly on the tips, nothing I don't think can be tuned out easily. The kite lost some turn tightness and reactivity or response. The kite camber looked increased particularly at the tips, which explains less stabil...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Just to clarify the backweighted mixer with extra pulley on B will be 0:1:2:3, I just write it as 321. Lets call it backweighted-. To list the various mixers and with WAC normal 421 plus WAC 310 backweighted 432 plus WAC 210 backweighted- 321 plus WAC 210 I'll standardize the numbers for comparison ...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

But but kit expert how could it be a new idea?? You tried everything with mixers 10-13 years ago and there is nothing not already tried with mixers you said? How is this possible? If it's new does does that mean you didn't think of it? How is that possible? Don't you know how to do everything and ar...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Actually for higher camber I think deleting C might be better. I was thinking the opposite before your illustration, with the increase curve from high camber I thought more support would be needed, but now I think the extra bridling is likely to create 2 bottom skin concaves vs the 1. You raise an i...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Collapsing suggests camber increased, most likely C was engaging before Z, without C then Z freely engages earlier. Did you try extending Z to compensate?

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

I have thought about deleting C, what are your thoughts. I will just try extending it till it does nothing first.

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Interesting, I have been trying to explain the difference between the depower limit and the mixer setting for a while now, glad to see you understand it. Interesting you bring up the bridle placement and ratios of the mixer. I didn't think of it but yes your backweighted mixer is close to linear on ...

Sizing I would say is perfect for you in high to medium winds. For light wind you can't go past thing...
