Re: My pansh Aurora2

Strange for a large kite to blow cells. The smaller Flysurfer's even with standard fabric do that quite easily, as do many other small foils. The magnetic blow offs on Pansh do seem to do something. It might be worth adding some. Your kite will definitely be repairable, though the effort could be a ...

Re: My Pansh A15 15m bar and lines ?

Most kites are trimmed to not have backstall with the bar fully in, this all revolves around the lines being even with them. I personally think backstall is very useful on kites especially foils. All kites go out of trim as to gain backstall rather quickly as the rear lines shrink. This is why they ...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Just post an excel file. I gather you are doing the mixer test by leveling the front and rear connections, which is not the flysurfer way but can work , you just need to measure Z as you can see. What I don't get is you could remove 20cm from all the mixer extensions and so remove the need for a Z e...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

So you are adding the Mains additions on top of the old mains. Because you add 20cm to Z, then when you do the mixer test and you need to subtract 20cm from Z, so you position it on it's original Main end???? I am a little confused. So below I clarify and update the changes 12m A15 V1.0 Kiter_from_G...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Yes it should increase overall bar pressure. What I was saying is that by rearranging the tip bridles like he has that will reduce bar pressure some. So changing mixer to 432 = +bar pressure, move bridles around = -bar pressure. So you have existing barpressure + more bar pressure - some bar pressur...

Re: Flysurfer sonic Race

I am not 100% sure as I just had a short look on the beach but from experience and what I remember it's constructed like this: The middle "B" level is on the first 1:2 pulley (as flysurfer has also done it on the nearly 3 level bridle of the old speed 4 normal (not lotus)) The two extra pulleys on ...

Re: The Pansh A15, an A18 review

Wow ok, you not only came up with an awesome new mixer, but you have rearranged the bridles massively at the tips! What I can see you have done at the tips is basically move all the bridles forward -> on the mixer. So B->A@Mixer C->B@Mixer Z->C@Mixer, you then don't connect to Z on the mixer with th...

Re: Flysurfer sonic Race

Interesting kite, it has a 3 level bridle setup so could use just 1 pulley, but instead uses 3!. From the website But the new mixer is a perfect match for the 3-Level Bridle Design, and changes the ratio evenly from the middle of the kite down to the tips while braking / depowering. The system trans...
