Re: 12m or 14m Slingshot Rally for 200 lbs riders ??

Regarding the 17m, I probably use my 17m Fat Lady more than anything here in the midwest. My 13.5 Best Kahuuna is my second most used.

Re: Pansh Aurora II 10m - one item off bucket list

I got the 22m Aurora II early last year. It flew right out of the bag and was definitely a session savor for me several times.

Re: Best gloves for kiting

- Mesh helps for windchill but the durability is shorter. - Thickness helps, but to much gives cramp. - Gloves with bended fingers helps an lot for cramps in de underarms I always go for a mesh glove or mitten where the fingers are bend. The NPX mitten is the most warm glove I've had. http://cdn1.b...

Re: Damaged ribs = Seat harness....help

Bob,
Sorry to hear about the ribs.
I've been using the ION B2 board shorts and they've been really good about not jamming the jewels or riding up wedgie style.

Re: Hand-held vacuum cleaner for inflation

What I use is an older version of this Coleman Rechareable Pump https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Rechargeable-Quick-Pump-Colors/dp/B00005JD40 I think I paid $20 for it off of eBay. I see it in stores for $30. It works pretty quickly. I inflate through the deflate valve, then finish off with the pump. ...

Re: Self-Rescue: The big problem with Ram airs

Just a word to those riding the inflatables: always pinch your struts off! It does no good to have a kite that can self rescue if you pop a valve and the entire kite turns into a laundry bag. I think maybe 90% of the kiters out there never in their life pinched a strut off. Too much effort? I dunno...

Re: Kite sizes beginner's question

I'm about the same weight and I have to agree with you. I have a 7-10-13.5-17 quiver. 7-Blade Trigger 10-LF NRG 13.5-Best Kahoona 17-Blade Fat Lady. In our area, we get a lot of 13-20 mph days that my Fat lady is very happy in. If the wind is more consistent, 18-22, then my 13.5 is more comfortable ...

Re: Which 18 meters foil kite would drift launch and float the most .

Pansch also has a Lotus cloth equivalent. I have that in a 22m Aurora 2 which flys well. Last time I had it out, the wind died and it sat on the water for at least five minutes before it came up again. It relaunched to problem. Pansch quality control is reportedly a bit sketchy, but you can't beat t...
