Kitesurfing in Austin TX?

Anyone know if there is kitesurfing on the lakes down there?

Going on a trip for a few weeks, and wondering if I can get some in!

Thanks,

Unhooked and Shoulder Injuries

Just starting to do unhooked. Hitting the Raily's, S-bends, and surface handle passes. I want to keep pushing it but I have a buddy that keeps telling me to chill on the handle pass stuff because of the shoulder injury exposure.

Any thoughts?

No problem Bob. Heal that femur fast and get back out there. Hoping my post didn't come off as "throwing my bro's under the bus." Not the intent. Take it easy, - Mark hey KP...thanks for the detailed explaination. Makes sense. You guys are for sure the experts. The only reason I questioned anything ...

Re: Why not to fly or land in a freaking storm!

Soleas, This vid (Airbus had one of the a380 too) shows Category 3 certification. This is what we use when we must have the aircraft fly the approach all the way to landing and rollout. The autopilots are in control. The aircraft/autopilot isn't capable of using the "wing-down/opposite rudder" techn...

Re: Why not to fly or land in a freaking storm!

"All the details matter for this incident, but just confining yourselves to the situation as it happened, not plane design or routing or traffic control issues, is it really possible to land smoothly in gusty, 100knots crosswinds?" BWD, that's exactly the point. It's not safe to land in this type of...
