Getting accommodation on your own - S Europe spots

Hi everybody, I wolud like to go kiting to southern Europe (most preferably Lo Stagnone). The accommodation that can be found online is either full or too expensive for me (as a sole kiter I cannot afford to pay 60 Euro a night). Do you have any experience with finding accommodation at kite spots? I...

Re: Ozone re-ride system 2015 mod

Search for them in electronic DYI shops, that´s where I got them (I don´t think my link to a central european e-shop will help you :-) ). These are commonly used to allow cables etc. to be lead through openings in materials (for example you drill a hole in sheet metal and the bushing prevents any ca...

Re: Flysufer lotus fabric long term

Don´t want to open a new thread so I ask here, as experienced Speed4 Lotus might read this topic - what is the windrange of Lotus 15m on snow? I mean the high end - I´d like to ride it up to 16-18 knots. Is it possible?

Re: Ozone re-ride system 2015 mod

Hey, I´ve done some inspection to my kite and have to tell you there is not only one spot where the re-ride line cuts into the sail. It goes through the inside ribs through rounded openings. However when you use the re-ride system, the line cuts into the ribs. The closer is the rib to the opening in...

Re: Kite combination - can 9m and 14m do the job?

Thank you for so many answers. I got the 14m used Cat, as the price was decent, however I will be unable to test it on the water untill may 2017 when it gets a little warmer. So I will be checking second hand offers for the 12m version and keep thinking about it.

Re: Kite combination - can 9m and 14m do the job?

Thanks, I am talking about water, on land/snow I use Frenzy 11m and Catalyst 9m. I don´t think the Catalyst 14m will be useful on land/snow as in my opinion it´s wind range would be approx. the same as Frenzy´s 11m. I can also get and older C4 12m (2012 model) instead of the Catalyst 14m (2013 model...

Kite combination - can 9m and 14m do the job?

Hey, I am a land-snow kiter riding a 11m open cell, but this year I bought a 9m Catalyst for stronger winds. As I had a LEI kite I learned how to ride a kiteboard and I liked it. However living inlands there are not many days I can ride. I need another kite - a bigger one. I can buy a 14m Catalyst f...

Re: New ozone winter kites

Well, the Frenzy... Isn´t it exciting to ride our 2015 models, being still up to date? :-) Moreover when you can easily upadte the 2015 to 2016 which is the same as the 2017 model? http://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=19 ... 30#p910130

Cabrinha Ace x North X-ride

--- Most important facts in bold :-) --- Hey guys, as a pure land/snowkiter I have bought my first inflatable to help me ride in gusty wind. So I thought I could get a kiteboard too :-) As I live inlands with a very few windy days, I will ride my board with kite and in the wake park at 50/50 ratio ....

Re: Flysurfer Speed 4 - 8.0 & 10.0 review

Thank you. What about wind range? According to the internet the Speed should give me a wider range, especially in the upper part of the wind range. But as far as I know closed cell kites have lower power per square meter. I am affraid it would perform worse in low wind than my Frenzy. Gotta search t...
