Re: Three strut Hybrid C kites for foiling?

Thinking of kites as you go forward with foiling is becoming either a real dilemma or real simple. I used to talk in terms of a kite being able to work on the foil in lighter winds then as it gets too strong switch to SB or TT. And this sort of left you thinking of the kite having that crossover abi...

Re: Dolphins

The dolphins do sometimes appear to use wakes to get them where they are going.
We have had them using ours but a change in direction and they go.

Dolphins ride boat wakes and in front of ships noses just for fun - is it possible that the foil creates a somewhat rideable ripple for them to draft on?
No they just like fun.
A race or a game of chicken or a surf or just to check us out.

Re: Half a Zeeko windfoil = Spitfire monofoil

I’m not sure if there is a specific Spitfire Windfoil in planning but I’m going with what’s there.

Re: Half a Zeeko windfoil = Spitfire monofoil

The Spitfire Windfoil XXLW is with 90cm mast. With a clear no jumping directive from Zeeko. Mine is on its way, and while I expect it to be slower and draggy-er than a normal Windfoil. It will be great to try with a board that will allow also Sup and Surf foiling wit same kit. As mono setup. Has any...

Re: Half a Zeeko windfoil = Spitfire monofoil

So what is wanted is an adaptor for a main wing to bolt straight to mast.
What about mast position on board?

Re: Holes in aluminum mast

This is what happens when you underestimate the forces on the mast when you design foils. -- Gunnar Hey Gunnar, how did this happen? Does using a tuttle box put more stress on the mast than a plate? The actual load point is right where the Tuttle mount stops an mast is free. In side load this is al...

Re: comparison one strut kites

ADD834A9-9D61-44FE-8FB8-FE1CB347B84C.jpeg I just went on a holiday along West Australian coast. Took a TT Foil board and Spitfire. And one kite. 8m Zeeko Notus Air with choice of 20-24-28m lines Coped the whole wind range but kited 12-32kts. If I wasn’t so lazy I would have gone down to 20m lines f...
