Re: Spitfire club

So far AVS has had positive feedback from those who have tested it. Many surprised that they noticed the difference. The Spitfire is already forgiving of vents but still most feedback we have had is that yes it works and is noticed. I’m not sure that the solid particules that makes water murky, have...

Simply you want to reduce all outside influences that would detract you from concentrating on riding the board with foil and attempting your first flights. So think location that is easy and deep enough. Smooth water and steady wind. And very stable kite flying conditions. You don’t want to be conce...

Yup, mine are white also. Im thinking its the AVS ... I coated the wings with glazing filler and sanded them off. Amazing the flaws you find when leveling off new wings....we'll see if it changes its tune....

Re: Do you need to rinse kites?

No. Deflate Roll up, pack. Leave in back of Ute.
Unpack pump up, use. Start again.

Re: Does it matter to have a heavy board for foiling

For just starting and getting through the first stages of porpoises, a bit longer with nose rocker will help and if it’s a converted surf board then weight will be ok.

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Yup. Good points. Rode it again today. Seems like you sacrifice the comfy stable ride for the phenomenal downwind turning....which seems to be its signature. Yes and it keeps on growing on you. Although after ventilating the wings on my Std wing Spitfire during a toeside carve on weekend maybe I ha...
