Re: My Pansh A15 15m bar and lines ?

Hi mate. I have the PANSH Aurora 12m, so please take these comments with a grain of salt, but they may help you out, because I've had to tune the bridles to get the kite to work. Firstly, lets' be clear and honest here: Pansh kites are NOT made from the same quality and bridle tuning you get from Oz...

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

May I weigh in here? I've been converting Naish octopus systems since 2010 and have not had one pop or fail me yet. It's part of my business offering to convert these kites, especially when clients come to me with octopus valves that delaminate and peel. They are not worth the price of a new one as ...

Re: What is your most used oldest kite?

My first kite was a brand new 2011 Fluid ATV 10m. However, it took all I my $$$ and I did not want or could not justify $1.5K + for a new kite, so I sold it and used the dosh to buy 2nd hand kites ever since. Buy 2nd hand and sell them on after a year or so.... bought more 2nd hand kites, and so on....

Re: Pansh A15 12 and 15 mts low end difference

At your weight, yes.. maybe down as low as 5knots, with a foil board especially, AND especially with the 15m. I have the A15 12m size and it needs at least 12knots on a twin-tip (136cm) and me at 81 pies. I don't have the A15 15m, but a friend in Cairns has the 18m A15 and he's out there in 8knots, ...

Re: How old is too old? & best practices when buying used ge

I had to reply to this because I've only got kites no younger than 2010. My oldest kite is a 1999 Naish Arc 3.5 and yet, I still fly it sometimes. The issue is not so much the age of the kite, but the design and the quality of the bladders/valves. The PU material breaks down over time and seem to ha...

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

A question to KiteAid, AirTime, DrTube, etc and all valve re-sellers: Why not create a valve where the glue is on the upside of the valve, not on the underside? Yes, I am referring to gluing the valve INSIDE the bladder with the glue between the inside of the bladder and the valve. The reason is two...

Re: pansh aurora - running a closed cell kite on 4 lines

If you have an old Aurora I made a thread on modding them. viewtopic.php?f=197&t=2390792 If you're deciding on the two, I would go with the Aurora. It's their best kite by far in terms of flying characteristics and stability. The Genesis is an older model and still pulls like a truck, but has very ...

Re: pansh aurora - running a closed cell kite on 4 lines

I have the Pansh 12m Aurora and it's definitely a 4-line kite, with the option of a 5th line (slack).

Here is a video of myself riding it...

G'day!! From Australia - Townsville, Queensland

Hey guys,

New to the forum.

I run a kite repair, tutoring and 2nd hand kite sales business. Soon we'll be importing some well known brands for sale up here in the tropics of Australia.

Thanks and keep the stoke!

-Fernando
