Re: Ram airs crash in 2017

The same ol’ problems keep recurring: ...... Ram airs are INFERIOR on downwind legs Haha.. nah.. you're just not using it properly. In fact, I bet you've never flown a RAM-AIR... well.. [1] they don't exist now (ARC, F-ARC, etc), and [2] The Twin-Skins today are by far more stable, more controllabl...

Re: Ram air persecution complex

Hi, why would that be a problem? Never tried tho, but the guys in Airush Perth suggested that no sewing does the job.

Re: Issue with Naish Kite leading edge, manufacturing defect ?

Its a simple repair. Patch the leading edge, put a new bladder in and move on. LOL Are you for real? Must be joking, right? That is not a simple repair. If you apply a patch to that, no matter how good the patch is, it will pop again, I can guarantee it. It will need to be professionally repaired a...

HI.
Anyone have good tips on how to sew triple-stitch in a circle? I need to resew a valve hole on my leading edge kite that I've converted from standard 9mm dump valve to Cabrinha AirLock valve.

Re: My Pansh A15 15m bar and lines ?

Hi mate. I have the PANSH Aurora 12m, so please take these comments with a grain of salt, but they may help you out, because I've had to tune the bridles to get the kite to work. Firstly, lets' be clear and honest here: Pansh kites are NOT made from the same quality and bridle tuning you get from Oz...

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

May I weigh in here? I've been converting Naish octopus systems since 2010 and have not had one pop or fail me yet. It's part of my business offering to convert these kites, especially when clients come to me with octopus valves that delaminate and peel. They are not worth the price of a new one as ...
