Re: North Technology Group Potential

The key issue will be the cost increase vs the performance improvement over so-called "stitched" kites.

Re: New starter to this

Best advice is to go to your local beach and ask the people there, and also go to local shops and ask them. Take your time, don't be sold anything on impulse. The majority of kites are now 4 lines kites with low V. Most common kite quiver is 12m, 9m, 7m - ideally your kite should be one of those siz...

Regarding punching out. do you mean pulling your safety then letting the kite rotate around, then resetting the safety and trying to relaunch again?
When the kite is inside out going to safety puts the kite on its side so there's a chance of it righting itself.

Re: Inverted Kite

I just punch out because more often than not pissing around hoping the kite will right itself makes things worse possibly ending up with a death loop. Rallys would sometimes invert but so far never Enduros ...

Re: What is kitesurfing for you? This it is for me

I raced bikes for 10 years and out of about 80 riders in my class 2-1/2 died. The 1/2 was someone who hit Armco at the side of a track, had brain damage, and no longer knew anything about who he was, his wife, children, nothing. But I quit only because I got fed up with all the boring off track time...

Re: Ozone Enduro v2 ? are we there yet?

Does someone know wether there will be new "default" colors for the second year of the V2 and in case of, when? I know i can order any color i like for some extra money. The V1 got new colors after one year. I thought that if you ordered a colour from Ozone's available 8 colour choices you didn't p...

Re: Ozone Enduro v2 ? are we there yet?

Hi , recent Tests on Enduro V2 Suggest that the Enduro V2 is an Awesome kite. V1 was great and the build quality superb. Only concern is that the Ozone Contact bar has 25m Lines , which are not ideal for kite loops . Ozone do SK99 20m, 23m, 25m and 27m lines. I've used 23m lines but generally prefe...

Re: Problem with Ratchet Straps Tightening

Forgot to say, another problem I found with the "ratchet straps" was that if I crashed and then knocked the top of the straps while getting my feet back in they 'clicked' and closed up a few 'notches' under the pressure on the top making them too small to get feet back in. The only way to re-open th...
