Re: Need advice for beginner - kite size

for true 11-14 knots I'd probably look at something around 13-14m for that weight. 14 knots is ok but 11 knots is barely enough for me to ride on anything but a foil at 65kg with any size kite 54kg and 13-14m in 11-14 knots on a 135x40 TT? Ooh look, another company joining the no-pulley club which gives riders "more direc...

Re: Advice from an older married kiter to a young one

I instructed my daughters myself and kept them safe. Always distance... My girlfriend took lessons resulting in tangled kites and injury to the hand due to snapped leash. IMHO the commercial interests of the kiteschool jeopardized safety. Too crowded spot... most kiteschools did like hers... don't ...

Re: Bar questions Cabrinha and Ozone

I used Marlow Ropes 3mm Dyneema D12 to make line length adjusters when I put Slingshot lines on an Airush Smartbar but never thought of making them length adjustable - good idea!

I get the attraction of a swivel but the trigger need modding for emergency use (as previously pointed out). The bar ...

Re: Chicken Loop Bye Bye?

Do not use Wichard snap-shackles, they are not designed to release cleanly if foreign matter such as sand or grit is present.
