Re: At last ... got to ride the Rebel (2018) and XR5 back to back

http://emoticons.datahamster.com/thud.gif Well, if it is so obvious why did I have to call my husband and interrupt his work with dying patients to find out how the boat tows? Appears the forum is useless... hmmmmmmmm Next time just answer the question instead of writing 5 pages on how bad Core kit...

We have a proposal, we will send to LetsFlyaKite and Bille the new low friction ring for free and they will report on the forum their feedback.
Please send address in pm :thumb:
Just make sure you enclose "signed for" instructions and a tube of Loctite 243 when you send to LetsFlyaKite.

Re: How to ruined your vacation with Core

Knot Core's Fault. Easy to make a kite more robust, but always trading weight. Lighter kites fly better. Kites, boards and people can all break. Whats new? Just tape it and ride it. Kite-Fix mesh and glue works well too. No need to cancel vacation. No need to slam the brand Core. Conflict of intere...

... how does a tow up work, I mean Nick’s latest escapade. I read it had a 500m tow line, but how does it work. Can’t explain it to myself.
Since you evidently don't understand how wings develop lift you should sell all your kite gear and instead do something that you do understand. :-)

That can be fixed. A double-digit IQ can't be. Not even with Loctite or a thorough read of the instructions :allbegood:
That's naughty ... but accurate. :wink2:

Re: splicing advice

Thanks for the feedback. The splice is to be used on a Cab mushroom release pin QR mod and unfortunately I don't have room for a long bury. How much strength is lost on Brummel with a short 20x bury? Isn't most of it's strength from the locking aspect of the splice? I also use a Brummel splice with...

Re: 3D printing of kite plastic parts: low friction sliding ring

Actually I did nothing to piss the owner off, he just didn't want to man up and fix his problem That's great you like dynabar, and by the way how is your kiting? Are you an extreme kiter that does a lot of tricks? Not trying to be a dick or anything, but when someone reccomends a product to me, I a...
