Re: Flysurfer Stage 159x45

I bought a Doutone Textreme a few years back thinking it would be a good light wind board. It was not. The Concave side rails slow you down. Makes no sense in hindsight. The Flysurfer Flydoor is a machine. Also the Duotone bindings were uncomfortable and hard on the arch of the foot. The Ultraspike?

Re: Flysurfer Stage 159X45

I believe its a rebadged Shinn SuperKing Comfort ( the flysurfer Trip is the shinn slicer ) https://kite.shinnworld.com/products/superking-comfort-2022 I've heard the Superking is good. At my weight I would go for the standard superKing for more range. I've seen videos of people boosting pretty wel...

Re: ISO chicken loop

I've been checking off and on for a long time and have not found any additional info. For $100 there's more readily available, vetted and well documented QRs out there.

Re: Chicken Loop & Fireball - Harness Modification

If there's room, run a rope slider on the spreader bar in addition to the normal spreader bar hook. This would allow using the fireball QR without the ball/stick part, just attach the Fireball to a ring on the slider rope or if you want to get fancy, dig out the metal piece from the ball/stick part ...

Re: ISO chicken loop

^^Good info, thank you. Just to clarify a bit, when activating the QR (by pushing the collar away from the user) one needs to use additional effort or force on the loop with a rocking motion to get it to release from the internal mechanism, is that accurate?

Re: ISO chicken loop

^^ All sorts including infexion, but the older Jeely and the older Epic do not require any disassembly to thread in a new 5mm centre line. Not seen any other traditional style chickenloops for sale for quite a while that are suitable for 5mm line, other than the Kiteattitude already suggested. The ...
