Re: Newbie - St. Kitts/Nevis or Antigua?

Perhaps you could hook up with Jake on Antigua...watch some videos from him.... Brett did a fine job on SPI... i would go back there in aheart beat...everything is relatively inexpensive, the kiting community there is awesome as you know. And you are in Amurika! I would go where the wind would ve th...

Re: Camrig Gen4 for GoPro Hero-6

Yes, that is the video that CAMRIG sent me a link for and i only used one plug on the flag side, as i described above.... I learned this weekend that an alternative to flagging the kite is to reel in one of the steering lines all the way to the kite......kite needs 4 lines to fly...i tried this twic...

Re: Camrig Gen4 for GoPro Hero-6

I tried it yesterday and finally saw myself in action. I thought i would come in for some lunch and it would be a good time to test the flagging with something on the center lines in shallow water. I pulled the release and nothing happened. I only had one plug on the safety side. It seeamed like the...

South Padre Island

I arrived yesterday for 4 days of kiteboarding. I was able to try my, new to me, cabrinha contra 15m light wind kite today and i like it. I also used my long bar and the combo was extraordinary, a session saver for sure. Anyway, i am staying right across the street from the convention center. The wi...

Re: Bridle Tags on a Cabrinha contra 15

Aloha,

Yes. This is correct. This is indicating that this is a 2017 model year Contra in the 15m size (which matches the product code on the kite. So you’re all good. Enjoy!

Re: Bridle Tags on a Cabrinha contra 15

I have a 2017 Contra 15m and I believe the bridles are also labeled "17". The replacement bridles I bought for them are also labeled "17" so I think you are good to go. Not sure if the "17" refers to 2017 or maybe the 15m and 17m share bridles and that's just what they're labeled as. Cool... this i...

Re: Bridle Tags on a Cabrinha contra 15

Beebad, how does the kite fly? I agree with Tommy that the Contra 15 is a sweet kite so it should be solid and stable in the air. But I'd have guessed the "17" refers to bridle/kite size (i.e., Contra 17 meter) rather than the year, and I'd have been worried that the wrong bridle is on your kite. B...
