Re: I'm new to landboarding

I understand that it takes a lot less just didn't understand how much less it was. Do you recommend open cell vs closed and what brand do you recommend. I'm kinda partial to flysurfer cuz I can use on land or water but dont need it cuz I have a full quiver of LEI for water.

I'm new to landboarding

I'm new to landboarding I already have a board but no foil kite yet. I'm looking into buying a flysurfer 12m but will this be to big or to small for me? I'm a touch over 200lbs also what kinda wind range will I get out of the 12m.

Thanks

Anyone know anything about kitecovers

Anyone know anything about this kitecovers.com?? I'm very curious about them and thinking about buying one! Heck it's only $45 and if it helps it can't hurt any. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything or not.

Thanks!

Re: Big bar

Wow ragzilla!!! That's a massive bar!! I know cabrinha overdrive is a 65cm bar. Is there any other Big bars out there? I'm gonna look to see if I can find a rev bar or something like that also. But so far the biggest I even knew of until you just said something was that 65cm cabrinha.

Re: Big bar

So you guys don't recommend getting a bigger bar. I'll have to add some extensions considering the slingshot bar that they recommend with the kite has 27m lines on it and then maybe do some pigtail tuning like foilholio has mentioned

Re: Big bar

If you are in the very low wind end of any kite, the turn will be sluggish and you will have to slide your hand way out on the bar or sometimes even grab the float on the line. How much wind were you flying it in? I was mainly flying in 10 knots but guys to 15. Yes I would have to steer it from the...

Re: Big bar

I have used the bar with a 15m envy ad it seemed to be fine. But honestly I was on land not in the water the only time I have used it on another kite. I have hooked the lines to the trailer hitch on the truck and walked went to the bar. Pulled the bar tight and all the lines seemed to have the same ...

Big bar

I'll admit I'm very new to kiting but I'm looking for some advice. It could be normal and I just not know so please let me know. When I'm flying my slingshot turbine 17m either if I'm walking down the beach or dragging I have to reach up and fly the kite by the lines vs being able to use the bar. I ...
