I revived this thread as I'm seriously considering one...

What is the opinion of the owners? Still enthusiastic about it or it has faded out?

Not if you ask Oyvind Nostdal, used daily I think: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCllu-R ... UzDs_uIwcQ :thumb:

Re: Which Kites and lines lenght are most people using for 30 to 50 knots

5m Ocean Rodeo Storm works well in the Gorge especially Rooster Rock when it hits 50 mph. Not sure I’ve hit 50 knots though (57.5mph). It is rock solid stable with 5 struts and 23m lines OR does not produce the Storm kite anymore . This was a good looking kite well built . Problem is, that very few...

Re: Kiteboard stiffness and how to describe it?

I dont know the answer... But I do know, that measuring with a weight doesnt make much sense, apart from getting a rough idea if it is superstiff or a mega sponge  As nobody wants a TT board that flexes in the middle - it will kill all the good characteristics of a good board. Whereas quite st...

Re: Moses T38 vs T22

I am one of those who find the short ones too short... 115-125 is an outstanding lenght for average weights overall riding in "anything" (except really light wind where you need bigger boards). Shorter, you get so many disadvantages IMO, that I personally dont find it good, not even with huge surf w...

Re: Which Kites and lines lenght are most people using for 30 to 50 knots

In 30 knots average wind on a waveboard for average weights, a 5 m2 starts getting too big pretty fast, and 4 and 4½ m2 starts to fit very soon. 50 knots as said, is simply a very wrong interpretation of how much wind there really is, and I bet 99 % are wrong when they say they were out in 50 knots ...

If you're outrunning a section of wave you want to ride then do a cutback. Surfers have been doing it forever. And what if you want to make a section and need the speed to make it? A massive 2100 cm is not necessary but could be fun IMO.

Re: Moses W873 2100cm wing discussion

Rolf, Don't know why I want shorter fuselage or stabs! Just a thought.... I'm really happy with 633 set up. Hard to find anything bad about it. I can go really slow. I know why, they are big and slow so of course we want to speed them up - nothing is perfect but a compromise  Shorter fuse...

Re: About real small pocket boards < 1 m, benefits and limits

Having boards from 85 to 175 cm, 6 different sizes, but only considering pocket boards in this thread: Really short pocket boards cons - Nose scoop not possible, giving the first 4 cons here. Can not be ridden on the surface really. IF they should be ever so slightly ridden on the surface, the angle...
