Re: What's the best thing about kite surfing?

When everything, or even just ONE thing, just clicks for you, no matter WHAT you ride, and you get the ZEN feeling :naughty:

This stoke lasts for sooooo long, after the session :D

Happens very often, with the right attitude, no matter how good or lousy you are :thumb:

Re: Cape Town Visitors - Avoid killing each other

4.Rider with right hand forward on bar has right of way. What about the rider riding/surfing a wave with a kite has right of way against the one riding away from the shore. The last time I was there a local made it pretty clear to me that that is how it is done around capetown at least among surfbo...

Re: On Shore Wave Kites

Apparently we dont agree about what "waveriding" is.... (a lot more than which kites we like to use) I agree fully with Eduardo, that if dead onshore it is not waveriding, but playing around on the waves - a very different thing, can be fun too, but got nothing to do with the term most think of when...

Not possible strapless, ... 8) PF Trying to understand- What exactly are you referring to? I did not get it or doubt that it is the case. Cheers, Frank www.famousfrank.com I am referring to having a big board (both volume and area), necessary for really light winds, and a long mast, starting in sha...

Re: Pansh Aurora2 19m with Zeeko Carver

I made a custom 80cm bar for my Aurora2 22m works great it still slow but it's a 22m with 30m lines. The kite is insane I'm 220 and I can ride in 6 knots on huge door. I find I don't need it with the Hydrofoil 15m is big enough! A 22 m2 corresponds to a 16.5 m2 for the average weight. For many, a 1...

Re: Ketos: Is one-bolt mount strong enough?

Hi Peter, I am curious of why 80 cm (shorter mast) is better in Low wind conditions ? This is something i never heard before and I always look to improve the Low end where I can ride. -D. A few times the short 80 cm for marginal dead onshore winds 5-7 knots, so used quite rare, but on some hot good...

Re: What's the worst thing about kite surfing?

Ha haa, I know this is just a thread for fun Kosta - but unless you are learning to foil, dead onshore winds are great, maybe the very best, for both super light winds and for waves, when hydrofoiling :naughty:

Loads of advantages when onshore, not present with other boards !

Re: Bar sheeting travel / kite's angle of attack.

Aaaah, okay. Well, you can (with most kites) cut the rearlines fully (infinite sheeting), and the kite will still "fly" very well, fully depowered of course, and not possible to steer the kite. You can not steer/turn the kite, not even with rear lines if too much depower stroke and bar pushed out - ...

Re: are newer boards easier?!

Hi folks, I currently use a moses flunte which I bought18 months ago as being their beginner/wave model. Its all good and I love it, still not doing much in the way of going round corners, can tentatively carve to toe sometimes but no where near gybing. I was chatting to someone at the beach who sa...

Re: How to self land core sensor pro bar

If I have to go ashore really powered, or for a break far away from the launch point, or just to get ashore - I ditch the safety first, and then climb the frontline to the V, and from then on both frontlines till up at the kite :thumb: IF something should go wrong (never experienced this though), I ...
