Re: Liftfoils materials and durability

Are you sure you're not just seeing the top weave? I very much doubt it's "ABS plastic". That's the trick. I can't see under top layer and the top layer is plastic foggy-glossy with ZERO pattern. Where it connects to the fuselage it looks exactly like a chunk of plastic. For structural, who knows w...

Liftfoils materials and durability

Can someone comment on materials used in 2017 Lift wings/masts?
- the wings/fuselage seems to be wooden core with carbon layer over.
- the mast does not look carbon. It looks like mold ABS plastic and weighs some more :(

Thoughts on that?

Re: Moses 550 wing and 325 Stabilizer review

On another note I've been riding the new MHL with a 150 wing just love that foil can't get enough riding that set up,save that for another thread though. Can you please comment what do you think Lift 150 mast is made of? Received 32" mast and it doesn't look like carbon, rather as ABS molded plasti...

Re: Short leashes

I love my Ozone and Cabrinha short leashes. The only disadvantages are:
- you can't hook in the kite behind you if you have to walk back long distance when crap happens
- you can't use it as an cross-shoulder strap if you pack your bar and deflated kite into it (getting a hike from/to a downwinder)

Re: Moses 550 wing and 325 Stabilizer review

It really depends on your weight and what your riding discipline is really the 550 is for lighter riders and the 548 for heavier riders IMO I'm 225 and prefer the 548 for free ride/ocean waves with my weight.550 a bit faster too,but after a few years foiling I don't mind slowing down a bit enjoying...

Re: Short masts

Dude, Canada converted to metric only in 70's under heavy opposition :) Mountain bikes, steel pipes are still measured in inches around the world. And good porting of gun calibers too. Jeans too. I prefer to measure wind speed in knots, but some go as far as call km/h numbers. Also centimeters are f...

Re: Why you should foilboard - Ride with Blake: Vlog 31

"Foil". To "foil". Foiling. Foiled. Been foiling. Just a perfect verb as far as I hear it. Just like "Google". Beautiful like the sensation itself.
