Re: Onda 633 with smaller SS Dwarfcraft board?

Grig. Awesome the photo is the 633? That is where I ride my 590 on 2019 DC 3'6". Tells me I will be fine without shimming and if I do need to go back I can? Yes, the photo is of mast position for 633 wing on 2016 42” Dwarfcraft. Ignore the numbers by the tracks. As long as you can stand your back f...

Re: The shorty: 60cm micro board

My stance width measured on the outside of the feet is about 30” (76cm) so I’d say 32” board is the smallest I’d be able to ride comfortably without having to narrow my stance

Re: Onda 633 with smaller SS Dwarfcraft board?

You might not need to go full way back with the mast. With 633 on 2016 Dwarfcraft 42” I set mine this way and I still have 1.5” space to move the mast back

Re: Onda 633 with smaller SS Dwarfcraft board?

I have been riding the 590 on the DC 3'6". I ride it at around 3 to 4 at back of pedestal. I ride strapless. I am getting a new GW 91 v2 with 633. Where should I mount it? I read Oregon kiter said put it all the way back. Is that far enough? I ask because I wont get chance to ride before Baja. Will...

Re: Flysurfer released Peak 4

So a combo of single skin and few cells has been experimented with but no longer these are true single skin kites.

Is Single+Fore skin a better name then?

Re: Looks like this will be the new Flysurfer Infinity 4.0 bar

Read in the FAQ section of the Connect bar: Is the CONNECT Bar working with other Flysurfer products? No, the CONNECT Bar is only working with the PEAK4 product line so far. Ah that’s good to know, I wonder why that’s so. I hope they stick to the light weight and I like the molded grip. Looks like ...

Re: Flysurfer released Peak 4

That wingtip fix was a right thing to do. The cells are a bit of compromise (1.1 skin, not a single skin? :), Ozone XXLite seems to just have narrower wingtips to avoid the issue but they had way higher AR too though. It’s certainly not easy to hit 33% size increase for each step, and 5-8m gap is a ...

Re: Moon on a stick?

I believe a great surfboard is light and has proper shape, a good kitesurfboard should be rather strong and a good foilboard should be tiny and thin. Trying to merge these three features into one would get you something rideable, but it’s going to suck if you expect more than mediocre/amateurish res...
