Re: Top speed of a Moses 633 SUP wing combo (the Onda)

slowboat is spot on, with a kite the stall speed can not be "claimed" - makes no sense at all. .. 8) PF Kite is only a propulsion. Stall speed is not measured for a wing but for an aircraft and it’s quite defined number. To realize you can take a 558 wing at your weight and any choice of kite and I...

Re: Moses 2018

You’re light and so are you winds. I suggest you pick a 590/330 setup or 633/483. Many lighter guys love last year set 550/325 set but first two would feel easier to ride switching from larger Liquid Force setup. But even faster 558/330 setup would work for your weight in normal conditions. A longer...

I have a couple of older bars which the lines are looking worn out.

Anyone got a link to good tutorials on making your own kite lines?

Where do you guys purchase your spools of line?
I can offer brand new Cabrinha 22m and brand new Best 22m sets. $120 either of them shipped in US

Re: Beginner Board Advice: Door vs Regular Large

One important note about the Glide - it doesn't work as a LW board and of all doors I've seen its the crappiest one. Not good at all. If you get one for free it can work till you buy a proper door. A door board is not suitable for crazy pressure edging - you won't need to edge hard in LW, you'd keep...

Re: What to consider when choosing kitesurfing brand.

On a side note, I have wanted to get a short leash for some time now, but I still have a bunch of full length leashes sitting around, thus no need to make that change yet. I should just buy one now and sell the long ones if I like the short one. Thanks for letting me know you are happy with the sho...

Re: What to consider when choosing kitesurfing brand.

Don't bring the whiny stories about 3'rd world into it. I've been there. It's poor and desperate. Make no mistake - they suffer so we can live and enjoy life. You have opened my eyes with this statement. I will stop buying things made in the 3rd world so the desperate people there can have a better...

Re: What to consider when choosing kitesurfing brand.

Aloha fellow kitesurfers! I bet most of you when making a decision what kitesurf brand to choose consider those factors: - price/value, - brand position on the market. Which you same do when buying a mobile phone or a pair of shoes... But what about the roots of boardsports? I believe that boardspo...
