Re: Season Over

How did you get injured? Poorly executed (Unhooked) backroll with boots. Think a few things contributed: Board - Was on a new board and did not ride it enough to get familiar with the performance - not a good pop. Muscle Memory - Grew up wakeboarding (since early 90s) and think I have a wakeboard m...

Re: Unhooking for big boys!!

I'm 93kg with a wakeboard background. I head downwind just before unhooking, then load and pop. I've had the bar rip out of my hands a few times and it was because I didn't trim enough. Recently broke my leg on a fast unhooked bakroll so I'm no expert. One thing I do know is that Wakestyle is a lot ...

Slow is good for tricks!
Use to fast kites that loop easy. Hard to adust to a slow kite. Broke leg on a fast and powered unhooked trick. Now considering to focus on low impact. Wont know what I'm up for until walking again in 2 months. Any recommendations for a big kite with speed?

Re: 10m slingshot turbine 2017

Hi Has anyone flown the smaller turbines yet? I'm thinking of ordering a 10m and hoping it'll be a boosty airstyle kite. Any reviews or info? Old post... I tried an 11 meter turbine a several months ago. Was floaty but sooo slow. Did you ever get one? I Will soon be in the market for a big kite and...

Re: Best bankrupt?

Best are still trading and I believe have new designs on the drawing board. Thanks, they make quality gear and hope they stick around. Was never a fan of the flying dolphin graphics though. The performance of eleveight kites shown in videos has got my attention. Sorry to hear Best lost their design...

Re: Best bankrupt?

Correct, BEST did not purchase the bow kite patents, they were purchased by a holding company owned by Javier, who owns Best. https://kitesurfingmag.com/north-kiteboarding-signs-up-for-kite-patent/ but other than that you're flat out wrong. Cabrinha, Neil Pryde do/did owe them money and North did e...
