Re: Trouble finding board after crash

I can bodydrag fine, it's just so difficult to find TT in waves. After loosing board and looking for it for hours next day I got Go-Joe. All problems are gone. Only thing to remember- inflate it before session. Also possible to make home made solution, Probably could work fine as well with inflatabl...

Re: Switch Lineup

Im 100kg with wet gear and I ride a TT 140x42, got the H3 16, had the H2 15.5 before. I can use the H3 down to around 10kn, not feeling any lag of power. :D thanks for advice. I am an owner of 16m H3 now :) Feels very light weight, well made. Turns fast, almost comparable to my 2015 Nobile T5 12m. ...

Re: Question about boots & progressing

maybe you are not bending your back leg? Also maybe too much edging in straight position- would just kill power and you plow water instead of going upwind. Twist you hips forward? If you have hard time to edge- you can move pads 1 position lower to the edge- like light wind boards- will be easier to...

Re: Question from a Noobie

IMHO- look for deals and try to buy new gear from last seasons- 2015-2018. Yes, kite designs have not change much since around 2013, but how many kites can hold sun, water, sand, heat and be still fine after 5 years? Depending on winds- main size kites will be used most and worn out. I see many smal...

Re: Real risk to be hit by a lightening when riding

You fly lines soaked in salty water, similar like conductors. And on huge flat area kite is the highest point, connected to you with feet in water. If there will be lightning near, i think your name will be in history as the first kiter to got hit.

Re: Switch Lineup

I am considering Helium for light wind. I am riding TT, 80kg. Have 12m as biggest at the moment. Can someone with experience advice which size of Helium would fit better for TT in lets say 10-15knots. 16 or 18m?

I have my phone written with water resistant pen on board and white pads. Has been 2 years now- still there. Cheap and quick.

Re: Is anyone else buying carbon credits to offset CO2 from travel?

Nobody is leaving this planet. Going to Mars and converting it to habitable planet? At the fraction of those efforts we can fix Earth to much better condition. I work ay big company, which can make a quite an impact- all my coworkers are eager to save Earth, but to be honest- no one knows what to do...

Re: Which brands of kitesurfing boards and considered the good ones?

get brightest color available- when you are in wavy water- lost board becomes invisible :) it is so easy to loose board at beginning if water is rough and deep. For those days I got GoJoe- look like a kook but I don't care. Get your name and telephone written on board. Go cheap. you will scratch it,...

Re: Advise needed on board size for beginner

hi, take it! More important is width. 42-43cm wide will be great for beginner as it will plane easier and let you keep standing during lulls.

The first board should be cheap and a little too big. Do not care for more features for now. just ride :)
