Re: Chinese KB Hydrofoil : 300 USD + shipment

I'm wondering if they are able to make a smaller front wing for the Takuma 'copy', would be cool to swap out for different sports and riding styles Just came across the thread about the new slingshot H4 front wing. What if it would fit the hover glide alibaba copy? Ultra cheap foil for both surfing...

Re: Kitesurfing Sardinia

Bringing this old thread back to life!

Thanks Toby for this great guide to kitesurfing in Sardinia. I'm planning a trip mid May, but was wondering what wetsuit is needed that time of year?

Thanks

Re: In need of a new kite (FX vs TS vs Hantu)

Not sure if 2013 TS has the same main valve as 2014, but man, I always curse the design they've...Even the sponsored Best rider complained about the design. Not sure about 2015 tho. D. No man, the 2013 has a "normal" small valve. They started using the twist-lock valves on the 2014 models. It's fas...

Re: In need of a new kite (FX vs TS vs Hantu)

Thanks for all of the info on kites. Will test the different options in the coming weeks, don't really have that much time at the moment though.. Want to test the FX, Hantu and TS for sure and need to look into the OR Razor a bit more, looks like a solid kite! I have been thinking about the GTS3/4 a...

Re: In need of a new kite (FX vs TS vs Hantu)

It's really hard to describe. It's like it feels kind of heavy, but the bar pressure is still light-medium. So when the kite pulls you don't really feel it in the bar, not even any vibrations on the lines or anything. It's like it *feels* low-performance but it actually has good performance and fli...

Re: In need of a new kite (FX vs TS vs Hantu)

If you liked the 2013 TS I'd suggest demoing the new one before buying, they changed the feel quite a bit and I'm not really a fan, it has a really "dead" feeling to me now. Not a very fun kite to fly any more imo :( Heard the same things before. Could you describe what you mean? I still have a 201...

Re: In need of a new kite (FX vs TS vs Hantu)

The Razor is actually pretty easy to get in the Netherlands. You need to contact Barry from stormchaser (http://www.stormchaser.nl/) I ride the ocean rodeo razor and they are perfect foor unhooking, boosting and looping. I live in the Netherlands and sell them pretty easy second hand. Thanks for th...

Re: In need of a new kite (FX vs TS vs Hantu)

Have you ever considered a SS RPM, Naish Pivot, or OR Razor? You like unhooked and some wave riding, the RPM is good. Boosting its not the greatest but its easy to do tricks with and holds insane high end. Good for those Autumn storms. I held down my 11m RPM up to 35 knots in Cape Town, would be ha...
