how long is too long?!

in really light winds on a 10 or 12m tube kite at what length do lines become too long to help you get up and going? I currently use 30m lines but wondering if putting extra 5m extension on would help or if it becomes a hindrance at that length?

cheers

Re: Moses Onda 633 SUP combo - what board is your choice?

Really interested in this thread as I have the Moses fluente and a t40.

As so many people are enjoying the 633 for kiting in theory could Moses make a wing that does the same thing but would work on the t40 and fluente mast or will you need a different set up for this kind of wing?

Re: Winter foiling

great shots peter, makes feel like a wimp for moaning about the air temp here when it hits below 5 degrees but I love the shots showing the ice on land and also on your kit, certainly captures how cold is it

Timing when carving

I am still struggling with the heel to toe carves, probably my third post on the subject! I have wobbled round a few but still far from great, I am wondering if people wait for the kite to be diving the other way before they start the turn, I have been a bit wary of doing this as have heard stories ...

Re: are newer boards easier?!

Thanks both, that's really helpful, and a relief to hear I don't need to start saving for a new one!

are newer boards easier?!

Hi folks, I currently use a moses flunte which I bought18 months ago as being their beginner/wave model. Its all good and I love it, still not doing much in the way of going round corners, can tentatively carve to toe sometimes but no where near gybing. I was chatting to someone at the beach who sai...

got a 5m, now how to fly it?!

hi folks, so I have picked up a cheap 5m but after any tips on flying a small kite! I find with the 7m that often when I dive it it generates a big surge then I let it fly too far forward to kill the power and I almost come off as the power drops to nothing then I dive it again and the cycle continu...
