Re: Flysurfer Soul 12m or 15m

we can agree to disagree....plus knot readings are like opinions....everyone has a different sense....and levels of height have huge impact. Mine are based on a personal weather station on a 12 foot fixed pole in open water in Ontario. I would choose the 10 on long lines every time. Agree : )) Here...

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12m or 15m

I just got rid of 15. Just never used it even on race wing. If the wind is sub 10 I put big wing on and 10m with 27m lines (I ride that combo in 5 to 8kts). I guarantee you if you are riding the light wind edge you are more likely to keep a long lined 10m in the air over a 12 or 15....they weigh to...

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12m or 15m

Depents, for normal foiling 12 knots will get uncomfortable. I hold the 15m in short lines up to 16 knots, but only sharp upwind and downwind is possible. More race style.

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12m or 15m

Hi, I was on my 12m for one year, can go on a big wing, 20m lines in 7 knots, (not lower than that). Can hold it to 20 knots on a race foil and short lines. Decided to get a 15m. Tested it in 5 knots on a big wing. This is so much fun. Also , in 7 knots a prefer the 15m for some extra power to go up...

Re: 683 vs 695 confusion

I'm on a Comet w637 and i was looking for wing in the lighter days to play around practice tricks and so. I'm 90% into race and i did not want to buy a complete new setup (front, rear + fuselage) I saw the review from Gunner (thx for that) and i figured that this could be a good affordable solution....

Re: Which kite is the easiest to re-lunch at low winds?

Strutless kites are the best for relauching in light wind.
One strutt is 300 gram.
Here i show how to relaunch a stutless kite in deep water when the LE is on his back. It always work. I manage to relauch a 17m cloud in 6 knots.

Re: strutless

I recent made a video about it. i'm comparing the Gong V2 to the Cloud C5. Both really very nice kites. Love them !

Remark : Cloud has the D model now and Gong has just released the V3

Re: Bar without Trim adjustment

I’m using the BRM bar for my Cloud kites. 70cm of depower line. Works well
