Have the less good lowend something to do with the new bar they presented in 2017?. I think otherwise it's a really nice bar
I don't think so as I've used the 2017 bar on older Torches and it works very well with similar low end power.

Re: Torch 2018

I'm also curious about the Torch 2018 low end as the 2017 was lacking some compare to the 2016. Any difference?

Thanks!

I've also tried adding 4-5 cm to the centerline and I came to the same conclusion as you. I'm also curious about the new Torch 2018. Anyone out there has tried it?

Re: Fuel how is it possible?

The pros add a 5th line to the Fuel. It increases its wind range a little and make it a little more docile in its upper range.

Re: Naish Torch 2017 Problems (No Power)

Perhaps.. It does make a little more responsive but I think the big plus w/ the new material is in regards to durability and overall resistance. I crashed it in the waves this season in Cape Town and never had to fixed it as oppose to my older Torch that blew the central panel :(

Re: Naish Torch tuning (2013 8m)

Having the front lines and the 5th line at equal length is a great start. I'd then suggest setting a pigtail on the kite's 5th line to fine tune it to your liking. Remember that the 5th line needs moderate tension but shall sag a little when fully sheeted in with your bar.

Re: New Naish Dash

I've got 2017 11m torch but I can't decide if I should get the 9m Dash or Torch. The high end on the 11m is insane and a friend of mine told me his 2017 9m torch lacked in the low end. I'm thinking maybe an 8m or 9m dash or torch. Any advice would help It really depends on your riding style. If you...

Re: Naish torch on North bar

Don't do it. :o Why? :D As previously explained the Y positioning matters and both North and Naish have been set designed to be set differently. However I can tell you that the 2015 Torch and up works fantastically well with a traditional low Y 5th line bar as on the 2017 Naish Torque bar. Hope thi...
