Re: The ideal light wind kite

...In my opinion Innis is mixed up, this is an experience and perception issue, because without a good engine how could you have a good acceleration and speed, the low end pulling power of a kite? Please move on and try different equipment to develop more fun in kiteboarding activity. Trust me ligh...

42cm is correct for the 137cm Nobile 2HD. The website is correct.
Thanks! No offense but I don't know if there is any control on mis-information posted on this site, so I'm curious: who are you (i.e. do you own a 137cm 2HD, sell them, or are you a distributor) and how do you know?

137cm 2HD - How Wide?

' How wide is the 137cm Nobile 2HD? The Nobile website indicates 42cm: http://www.nobilekiteboarding.com/index ... tem&id=773 However, many Nobile retailers indicate that it is 44cm wide: http://www.powerkiteshop.com/nobile_2hd_kiteboard.htm https://www.powerkitecentre.com/Kitesur ... d_905.html htt...

Re: GK Sonic 2007 8m

I was on my 11m 2007 Sonic when gusts went to 30+ mph. The kite started acting like it was going to invert. I should not have been out in winds this high with an 11m. Then one day in 20 mph winds, I had a slow leak in my Sonic. After a while it started acting like it did in 30+ mph gusts. So I'm wo...

Re: I have a 10.5M, should I go with a 7M or an 8M?

The wind range charts companies put on their websites are just guides. Don't put too much faith in their accuracy. At 155lbs you could definately go down to the 7m on big days. I don't fly x-bows but from what I've heard they have a lot of range so I'm sure you'll still have adequate overlap with yo...

Re: better lowend Waroo 08 11m or switchblade-3 10m ?

The SB3 has incredible low end power. A 10m SB3 has more lowend power than the Waroo 08 11m. The Cabrinha SB3 kites are light wind specialists as they fly upwind extremely well and have great low end power/lift. I see that in a large number of your posts you have favorable things to say about Cabri...

Re: Luderitz Speed Challenge + PKRA Speed Tour: Final Results

One twentieth of a knot (i.e 1/20 or 0.05) between the top three. That's tight!

Next up: 60mph or 52.14knots?

Re: The ideal light wind kite

A big flat bard is more important than the kite ! A big flat board is important, but add a really good low wind kite like the Flysurfer Speed 2 and you have a winning cobination. The sport is called kitesurfing for a reason......the kite IS very important. Abel is correct. A big flat board is more ...

Re: Florida Fay Lofting: Interview with Rider Kevin

. For the good of our sport, we need to distance ourselves from this individual. People are watching these videos and seeing them as examples of "typical" kiteboarders. Not good. Tell your friends, family, post it on your facebook status: Kevin is an example of one of the worst 0.1% of kiteboarders ...
