Re: Recommendations for a kite

Re: Hydrofoil in 8/12 knots at 80Kg(176lbs) rider what kite size better?

Below 10 knots LEI's relaunch more often. Below 10 knots foil kites crash less often. Decide which advantage you'd prefer to have in your pocket; I chose to go with the kites that crash less often in light wind and haven't regretted it. YMMV. Let me clarify..., The size of the kite doesn't have inf...

Re: Hydrofoil board for beginner, cheaper VS expensive

... I then purchased a zeeko blue/white and the carver wing as well. Best of the lot and in hindsight, wished I started with the blue/white/carver as my first foil (not sure it existed when I got the fish foil). I also invested in the Zeeko Spitfire and XLW wings. I would have been happy to learn o...

Re: Hydrofoil in 8/12 knots at 80Kg(176lbs) rider what kite size better?

Abel Plummet Dylan Neptun thank you for your advice! finally what I understand is that is preferable a smaller kite for better relaunch between 9/10 knots to 12 knots and that under this wind speed the kite have to be bigger but lighter as perhaps a LEI mono strut or without strut or again a foil ki...

Hydrofoil in 8/12 knots at 80Kg(176lbs) rider what kite size better?

Hello all! speaking about LEI kites (not foil kite) I was wondering if it's better to hydrofoil with a smaller but better relaunchable kite like a 12mt? (please suggest your small size kite size for hydrofoil in low wind) or with a bigger with better grunt and low end kite like 17mt? (please suggest...
