Re: What are best wetsuits for winter windy extreme conditions?

Drysuit only for me. Always warm, coming, going and on the water, never cold. Drysuits can be sketchy when far from shore. If there is a rip in the suit you will quickly get cold and have a hard time swimming. I use a 6/5 with a wetsuit Hoodie. If you want the most of your winter session there is a...

Re: How to Self Launch Using Your Car

You guys must have some serious depower and super stable kites, pretty sure if I tied any of mine to my car in a usable windrange it'd do something stupid and rip the bumper off. I also really don't like the idea of a solidly tied kite without control, if it swept across the horizon it would do meg...

Re: How to steal Money from dummies 101

Step one. Tell honest enthusiastic kiters, windsurfers and other sports people - you are going to produce a jump meter, a gps guided video camera and any other gadget that promises to make their dreams come true. Step 2. Call it a kick start program. Step 3. Take their money. Step 4. Congratulation...

Re: rescure strapless board with TT

Riding strapless and holding the TT is your best option. If for some reason you can't do that ( go Joe, not good at strapless) and the TT has no fins you can put it on the surfboard and body drag on top of both. I wouldn't recommend doing this with fins on the TT though.

Re: 2018 / 2017 / 2016 kiteboarding boot / binding recommendations

Never heard of CWB, they look good but the picture of the boot doesn't appear to have the side connectors to the board... I'll look into. Cabrinha H3's look great, I like the low cut and ability to walk in booties. How many sessions will they last? Is the shell durable enough to support buying new ...

Re: 2018 / 2017 / 2016 kiteboarding boot / binding recommendations

Looking for kiteboarding boot binding recommendations. Priorities are: Durable Light Relatively stiff Closed toe I have plantar fasciitis, so the straps just don’t work. I am currently using the Ronix One’s. They were good at first, super comfortable, but the laces always get tangled, and they basi...

Cons for boots.......you need a screw driver to do a board-off.
I have done board offs in my boots. Your triceps will ache for days after though. You can either wear your boots super loose or you can ride feet out of the bindings and ride it like you would snowboarding with a stomp pad.

Re: Kiteboarding Boots - Weight?

I eyeballed weight on Amazon. Focus on wet weight tho not dry weight. Funny I am upgrading my old LF Index Boots I bought years ago. I chose Hyperlite Team OT since there is a great sale in them atm. Hoping they are abit lighter than my Index boots. Really wish LF had kept making the Ultras in OT. ...

Re: This is so wrong Naish (or I am so wrong)

Now I realise that I was totally wrong, Naish has a 90days (3 months) warranty policy so I am far out of the warranty period because I have my gear for almost 10 months, so my warranty is not valid, I thought at first that the warranty was valid for 1 year. But anyway I think this post is useful to...

Re: Seat harness or back harness? whats the benefits

I started with a seat harness and it was better for pushing the bar out if you have short arm or a long throw. A lower centre of gravity also made it a bit easier to dig my feet in when getting pulled. The reason I bought a waist harness is because I got supermaned one day and the strap rode up and ...
