Re: Liftfoils materials and durability

I can't answer your question but I can tell you the Lift wings and fuselage are incredibly well made, super light and have a great finish and look. Even more important they are incredibly stable and easy to ride. I was shocked at the difference between the Lift and an aluminum (liquid force) ride. T...

Nobile Infinity Split review

Greetings. I did a lot of research and finally dropped the money on the infinity. I have a 138 split from Nobile and I really like it. I was looking to include my foil arsenal into my travel plans. I'm new to foiling but getting good, long rides and really enjoying myself a lot. Out of the box the b...

Re: What are the best and most picturesque foiling spots on the East Coast?

Given all our Great White activity over the past week the sharks in Obx are puny compared to the Cape. I still think a foil looks too much like the lures I troll offshore with. It's a teaser that looks like a big flying fish. Nantucket is great in the fall. Smith point is deserted and you can get fl...

Re: Stringy foil available here

I love the stringy foil. I'm a noob but I really liked the feel of the foil compared to my LF. I had some really great runs and was foiling in super lights winds for the first time. I eventually dropped the kite and had a very long swim with a big smile on my face. Craftsmanship is great too. It may...

Re: Stringy foil available here

Thanks Eltreato. Jim indicated he has his own Fuselage which has weight savings. It is the liquid force mast and plate. I will weigh it once I receive it. I will send him a link to see if he wants to participate in the discussion and answer any questions.

Stringy foil available here

Those that follow Greg at BRM knows he's a huge fan of Jim Stringfellows foils and uses them exclusively. I had a difficult time finding them last year but recently discovered from Jim he's now selling them directly here: http://jimstringfellow.com/Site/stringyfoil.html#1 He was a pleasure to work w...

Re: Mast length Vs Stability

Is there more stability with an even shorter mast? I respect PF and appreciate his valuable perspective. It's clear from prior posts he 's appears not to be a fan of shorter masts. I love my 60cm but mostly because it opens up far more opportunity with the massive tides in my spot assuming the winds...

Re: Slingshot Lift NF2 opinions

Thanks guys. I'm super stoked. Does any have the width and length of the wings for the 110. I'm trying to figure out travel bag options. One piece does make it more challenging but not insurmountable. My waterproof hockey bag would easily fit the mast and wing plus 4 kites, pump wetsuit etc and 2 No...

Re: Slingshot Lift NF2 opinions

Great recommendation Jespin. I really like supporting an operation like Lift. It's similar to BRM. I feel these guys are the innovators. I called for advice and Nick himself got on the phone and was super helpful. Trigger pulled on the 91" mast and 110 classic wing based on Nick's advice. Cheers
