Re: Help! Modi Pro kite surfboard

Anyone ever ride this board? Seems absolutely amazing, but can't find anymore info on it. https://www.modisurf.com/product-page/5-6-modi-pro-complete-with-2-pads-and-fins Hey Pikovsg, There isn't much info out there yet! I'm really just getting it going. I have a few boards on the market now but in...

Best footstraps for foilboards

Hey folks, So I've had a set of footstraps I've been using for 4-5 years that finally wore through and tried a few sets. After a few I was beginning to lose hope but tried the Dakine Tyrant strap. Very comfortable and extremely easy to get in and out of. A little bulkier then my previous ones but fe...

Re: Diablo 2 review

I have the 2016 diablo where it should be the same light weight material on the underside. as far as I know the main changes are aspect ratio, cell count and new bridle desin. Im looking for a back to back comparison of a v1 vs v2. The Diablo 2 15m & 18m have a lighter material on the underside the...

Re: CRX - One Design Racing - Opinion

Jon: which type of boards did you ride? Directional or TT ? In general, everything new is great! For sure I vote to have both classes co existing...since there is just one more option for us. Then Olympics or whoever can decide if they want open or a class like this. BTW - smart move by NP... And i...

CRX - One Design Racing - Opinion

Hey everyone! I wanted to take a few minutes to write down my thoughts after the first one-design racing event we had in Miami, FL lat weekend. As you know Neilpryde just launched the CRX class and it has been at the center of some debate whether we should be moving towards a one-design class or kee...

Re: Diablo 2 review

I'm assuming you also have the v 1 15m? I am on the market for a 15m kite right now and I'm looking for justification of price that the v2 demands. As they are still making the v1 in 11 and 15m I'm wondering why and if the difference is that big. The materials on the v2 are way lighter and better. ...

Diablo 2 review

Hey everyone! I just got my 15m Diablo 2 and wanted to give you my first impressions. Feel free to ask specific questions. Low end/high end: The first thing you'll notice is that the D2 15m has a much lighter material on the inside of the kite which I didn't think made a big difference until I hit s...

Re: how fast are You!?

I also got the Suunto Ambit2 and have been really happy with it. Took a little while to figure out the interface... but so far so good. I've been hitting 35.8 mph on my 11m Sonic. I average around 33-34mph on the downwinds and about 22-23 mph on the upwinds. -Jon The Sonic is a sick bit of kit eh? ...

What foil did you hit 35.8 Jon?

smooth water sure helps the top speed huh?
I was on a Spotz 2. I wasn't in smooth water when I hit it. Open ocean!

Yes, smooth water definitely helps.
