Re: Strapless board for a big guy

Kite power on---get to the wave and set up on the face. Kite power off/drifting and it is all board--surfing. Use the board to generate speed by navigating the wave face. Up to the top of the wave to reset and drop in again. The kite, pulling too much, will not allow you to stand up and effectively...

Re: Kiting ban in Saudi Arabia

Were women ever allowed to kitesurf in Saudi Arabia? Last I heard girls sports are banned in any public school in Saudi Arabia. The way the kingdom treats its women is disgusting. Probably a good thing they ban kitesurfing, because the dress code that they wold impose on women kitesurfers would get ...

Re: Quikfin - tool free fin system

Looks like your adding 4 new snag points for your lines on your board.
Counter sunk screws are better, simpler and only require one simple little tool... a screw driver.

Re: Kiteboard Pealing, How to Fix it

Use west marine penetrating epoxy. It is designed to penetrate cracks or water damages wood/core materials.
It will do a much better job at getting deep into the delamination even where visible separation can't be seen.

Much better than other thicker epoxies.

Re: Warning naish does not recognize the warranty

I'm guessing there is a bit of a communication barrier here. The skater ships without foot straps, but comes foot strap ready having inserts to screw the foot straps onto the board. My guess is that Paolo is having problems with the inserts that the foot straps screw into. I've never had a problem w...

just cut em off above the knees. many guys in cape town ride like this in cold water. it keeps your body still warm and you get rid of the problem of water flowing into your wetsuit
Hmmm. Might just give that a go. Got a wetsuit that is getting ready to be retired.

Thanks

Wetsuit that is not tight on the knees.

I have rather large bones and find all the wetsuits I have tried are just too tight on the knees.

Can anyone recommend a brand that is not tight on the knees. Also I don't need kneepads like surfers do.

I don't want to go with a dry suit though that might be an option.

Re: Stormageddon in Seattle

My preference for big wind is to go with a small kite and a big board. Less power in the kite, less chance of getting your ass handed to you.
