Re: Broken control bar

So why the red text and capitals then? Seemed like a statement too me. Red capitals for emphasis on the importance of the idea. And you are correct that it was a statement. Though it was qualified by the following statement (sentence) you conveniently left off of your quote of my post. So much of y...

Re: Broken control bar

is that for real... they sold uneven line sets.. didnt bother to make up with bridles/ leaders lines as most companies do, i guess it is possible, but f$&ing wierd! I don't think that equal lengths for lines was standardized across the kiteboarding industry until some where around 2012-2013. Maybe ...

Re: Broken control bar

If you do have a C-kite as others are mentioning, you NEED A 5th LINE BAR!!! Do not let anyone else tell you otherwise. Lol - except when it's a 4 line. Slimey, let me repost the rest of my paragraph and explain it to you, again. But thanks for taking my statement completely out of context. You hav...

Re: Broken control bar

I think you lit your fuse a bit too early. Read his whole paragraph before ranting; Let me try to clear it for you: the bar is just that. The bar. Nothing wrong with my 2005 Cab bar. The bits and pieces with the bar tho makes a control bar, and than you do this: So would you give the recommendation...

Re: Broken control bar

You do not need Ozone bar. And as a beginner, they will sell u whatever. Get any second hand bar in decent condition, 4 or 5 lines, simply coz will cost less than a new set of lines. Safety of 5 lines kite is negligible tho. Keep the old bar, u might like the feel of it more. Than get help if neede...

Re: Choosing size on a wave board, please help

To be honest all the f-one boards are a little too thin for real world conditions but if I had to choose one the Slice would be it. Slappy is the best poster in opposition to my position on "volume being bad" for kitesurfboards. And not only is he honest with his vids, he is also riding a foamie. T...

Re: Choosing size on a wave board, please help

21 liters are not too little? I see the mitu 5'8 have almost 24 liters volume... There are 2 schools of thought on volume in kitesurfboards: 1. The dedicated strapless crowd, who try to simulate the limitations of prone surfing with kitesurfing, feel that volume is necessary - or at least beneficia...

Re: Choosing size on a wave board, please help

Coming from my experience at 100kg, the width looks to be a cm shy of what I would want, but perfect for you. That said, I would go with the next size down unless you have some fantasy about this being a "light wind" board. In either size, it will likely not be better in light wind than a regular, b...
