Some of the fasteners labeled “truss head” have a smoother and wider dome might work for you, and commonly come in m6 stainless.

Re: Small modification to Moses T60 board idea - your thoughts?

I agree with the above, do not modify the board when there are so many more hardware options available. Whole world of different bolt heads out there. Simple switch, no mess with board. I believe some of those options are called “sidewalk bolts” or “hurricane bolts” if that makes the search any easi...

Re: Foil - wave riding

Im sure kite design for surf drift /slack line glide will continue to improve as it has already quite a bit. However we must remember that this IS Kitesurfing, not surfing. If you want 100% pure wave power only and no focus on the kite whatsoever, then ditch the kite altogether for those sessions an...

Re: Kites for Maine-US

All the sizes of course, haha, no really :)

The ocean is super duper freakin cold in Maine, even late summer you will need a very thick hooded high quality wetsuit or a drysuit. I’ve surfed there in December and its quite an experience. Props to all the watermen living there.

Re: LF MaxFlow Valve Leaks After Tomahawk

I have noticed this when removing outer cap to deflate, little burst of pressure is released before maxflap reseating. but outer cap has always held the air for me and kite did not get soft at all. If the outer cap was not sealed, you would think the maxflap would reseat itself, but there must be a ...

Re: Best Lightweight Versatile Surfboard

If lightweight and inexpensive is a significant part of the equation then regular surfboards at garage sales or classifieds, you can get three or four different ones for the price of one new kitesurfboard... Foot straps- drill and resin in your own inserts or use the stick down kind. Granted you wil...

Re: Blade Kites

I had a 9m trigger for a while and liked it but it got abused snow kiting and mated with some trees eventually so I didn’t have it very long. Anyway I would say build quality and flight is good. I can almost guarantee it would be significantly lighter in weight than the “equivalent” North. In a good...
