Re: Recommend me 12-13m kite for strapless freestyle w/ excellent low end?

I replaced my 12m solo after flying the Flite. Flite turns quite a bit faster and has better low and top end IMO.
And weighs in about .25 lb less than solo
Still love my smaller solos, but at 12m size canopy I like having three struts for when the wind picks up..

My bad, looks like that deal is gone...
Great kite anyway. Very responsive and very well may be best low end available in a 12m tube kite.

12 pages of posts FFS!

If you ride whatever board you like with whatever kites you like in whatever the conditions and have fun that's all that matters.

End of.
This could be the response to any thread on this forum.
I thought the whole point was to discuss endlessly.

Re: Nigel no mates

I agree with Toby Hydrofoil allows doing a few things way better than TT namely speed/upwind/ lightwind. However they will never surpass the TT for jumping/tricks/freestyle/shallow water/and general messing around without having to be perfect all the time. In short you have to be a better hydrofoile...

Best TTs for waves?

Any TT with a lot of rocker

Helps get over the slopwash on the way out, helps prevent pearling when dropping in, and better on downwind course in general.

Re: How does Kiteboarding translate to snowboarding

I was a snowboarder first before kiting But -Being a kiteboarder helped me gain confidence going the “other” direction on a snowboard. Being forced to ride both directions while kiteboarding has in turn given me way more confidence doing the same as a snowboarder. In general being a snowboarder, and...

Re: [Beginner] Impact+Life vest advice?

The only difference Ive noticed body dragging with/without life vest on is how much water you drink without it! I could see where if you were wearing a bulky high float vest it could be less hydrodynamic on the body drag. But a slim, well fitted, open shouldered life vest designed for action sports,...
