Lac d'annecy, info?

I am at lac d'annecy in France for 12 days in July with my family.
Found some old pictures that show kitesurfing is possible put very little information.
Does anyone know if it is worthwile to bring my gear?

I see the same happening in the Netherlands. Our fora used to be very lively but nowadays they are mostly used to post lost or found gear. All the questions are already asked and answered. I've seen pictures on instagram of a 4m² one-strut and 7m² three-strut flying.

Your pic looks like a 3m² !

Looks to me you already have kite skills. So I think you should be able to self teach. Take care of the safety aspect though. Really.

Of course if you could take lessons that is better. Or go with someone who has experience.

Friend of mine misfortune.. First day of his 2 weeks’ vacation, pilot’s error, he pulled on the wrong side of the bar after a simple rotation and smashes his kite on the water Kite as less than 20 hours on it.. Humm A kite should be able to handle a crash on the water. Unlike cars they are designed...
