Re: Top speed of a Moses 633 SUP wing combo (the Onda)

stall speed feels unreal, walking pace for sure, and to pop it back up from a stall needs little input compared to the standard 550 front wing.

Re: biggest regret purchase

Gasstra Phoenix light wind 22mtr kite, double front bladder yes! 2 valves and 2 full length bladders just for the front tube to be fair I did buy a brand new 26mtr Gasstra Phoenix at the end of the year for a silly price of around £260, that was even worse, by the time it was all blown up it was tim...

Top speed of a Moses 633 SUP wing combo (the Onda)

after 3 days in a row using the Onda pump wing and downloading the data from my TomTom Gps watch and trying fairly hard to push the speed I have 3 days of comparisons, I know this is a question in many minds, many presume it will be dog slow, well now I can confirm my findings, all speeds were made ...

Re: Going from Short Mast to Long mast Advice

"Learning how to surface ride" should be like the first 2 hours of your very first session. If you're posting on the internet about your difficulties learning to surface ride a hydrofoil, you don't know how to kiteboard, lol. It took me way more than 2 hrs just to manage to position the board and t...

Re: Question about sanding Hydrofoil for less whistling

I have had the same problem on 3 masts from 2 brands, and it was so easy to shut it up for good. get some wet/dry paper of grade 600 or 800, tightly wrap it once around a bit of smooth and level sided wood of around the size of a cigarette packet, wet the paper (recommended) then in long single full...

Re: Going from Short Mast to Long mast Advice

Short mast makes hydrofoiling a lot safer and easier - I would not say it is a waste of time. Hydrofoiling is a dangerous activity, especially in the early phases. I agree there is definitely a temptation to stay on the short mast too long, I am certainly in this camp. I agree with recommending usi...

Re: Rider weight versus foil classification (wind range)

There are 5 of us all using the same wings masts stabs from Moses, some of us have a few wings to choose from but very close in sizes, apart from two of us who now have the Onga surf wing kit as well, however when we are all using the standard moses kit the only variable is our weights, Kat is the li...

Re: Moses 2018

the 633 wing only fits the unique Moses Onda fuselage, it's more robustly made and only fits with the Onda wings, however any moses kite foil mast fits the fuselage and any length of mast works, and works very well, I have used the 61/71/and 101cm masts, all are great, my favourite depends on the wa...

Re: Kite Board Hydro Foils available JAN 2018

Thoughts? Most Carbon foils on the market today are quite frail and must be handled very carefully, they crack or even break when you bottom out, or run into objects in the water." RH I cant agree with this statement, maybe its true for some makes or dodgy internet sales, but where I foil the main ...
