Re: Moses 2018

Today was just too light again for my 15 MTR tube kite at flag beach, wind was around 7 knts, all the top foilers were out on foil kites of 19-21mtr. and it came to my notice that one of the guys I had been watching out there and thinking wow he is good, is none other than Florian Gruber, the German...

Re: Moses 2018

Yesterday morning the wind here on Flag beach was very low, under 5knts, so low large foil kites of the race type would not stay overhead and had to kept on the move, there is a group of 4 foil board race guys here testing out flysurfer race kites and other foil kites that have no markings at all bu...

Re: Moses 2018

Foil, have you found that the 590 is as nimble and carves as well as a 548 or is 590 a bit more of a straight line riding wing? Good question and I don't want to guess from fading memory as it was 2 weeks ago when last used, the weather here in the UK has been awful, and will be up till my next hol...

Re: Moses 2018

.. So foilwise the 590 on 101 mast went fast but also had the lowest lowend of your wings, correct? But you had to move your straps back a hole from usual, right? Was that on 330 stabilizer? Yes and yes, and I was using the 330 stabilizer Foil, what's your weight, and what was wind speed on the HL ...

Re: Moses 2018

I used the 590 new front wing whilst on holiday last week on Flag beach Fuerterventura. I took along my 548 and 550 wings along with the 101 mast and 91 mast. My time on the water which was every day was in mixed winds and water conditions, for 2 days I went out on my twintip as the conditions were ...

Re: G10 wing replacement for fragile carbon

I have found a few new SUP foils complete with Tuttle box and plate mount adaptor for less than £600 new, not carbon of course. The Naish set up from "King of water-sports" (with unwanted board) is priced up at over £3200, yikes! I am at Flag Beach from Thursday and will bump into Gunner (Gb) on thi...

Re: Which watch for real-time speed read out

My new Tom Tom arrived and I have been setting it up for the last few hours and understanding it's way of working and data information. Firstly it comes with a bar mount so it can be secured on kite bar or wrist, setting it up was a minor task as each step is explained on Tom toms on line user manua...

Re: Fixing g10 wings?

I keep looking at the damaged wing and thinking that material is not G10, I have never seen G10 showing that sort of damage,
It dings when wacked hard on a sharp edge, and will scratch slightly, but never seen frayed edges like that.

Re: G10 wing replacement for fragile carbon

What? A SUP set up on your foil board sounds like a mistake, now I am confused. I have seen the SUP wings, they are Massive, so very thick and Blunt edges, but you like the way it sails. Tell us why? Is it something that we should try? Why do you like it so much? I am wondering if I am missing out o...
