Re: Gear that has exceeded your expectations!

I have a decent quiver of kites and boards built up over the years. Most of it I like enough to consider a permanent part of the collection, regardless how much use it gets. There are only a few pieces I would replace immediately in the case of loss. My foil (zeeko), my strutless kites (clouds), my ...

Re: Foil board compatibility

My only theoretical gripe with track mount is the daily fiddling when mounting. Can you get the little slider bolts to stay put full time? Or do you need to fiddle lining everything up every time to get them threaded before tightening? I’m talking about the lining up of each bolt to its sliding nut....

Re: Which is your preferred trim system?

Have never tried a rear line adjustment system like the newest North,Duotone,Ocean Rodeo concept. Definitely understand the draw of a clean and visually unencumbered system. Most of my riding these days is with a trimless bar that I rate highly. Ill give the rear line bars a couple years before I go...

Re: Inflate valve ball missing

Pull the inflate valve when deflating for storage. If you leave it plugged in it can stretch and leak. The ball is somewhere in the bladder unless it fluked it’s way out the deflate. If you find it you can pop it back in place. Really just saves that last 1 psi when inflating, not necessary.

So much easier with enough power to lean into.

Re: 180 Tack, Toe-Side back to Heel-Side

Had a pretty good session last week. Just really started nailing the timing on my one decent tack: heel to toe port side. Clued into trying to mimic the timing and pace on the other tack. Thee ten in a row of the comfy tack and then right into the toe side version. Pretty surprised to make the first...

Re: dynamic differences with seat and waist harness

First production version of ride engine. Have both, slider and hook. The footprint is nice and small. It just feels compact and has a great fit for me. No squeezing when really loaded and it stays put better than previous harnesses.

Re: first 360 hydrofoil from Marc blanc !

Thanks Sergio, That drone perspective gives sooooo much information on how this works. Kind of alternating spirals with the kinetic energy shifting from kite driving board to board driving kite.

Re: foil skills improve my TTip riding, wow!

Can identify with this. Noticed it more on the surfboard, but a bit on TT too. Some of it is just the willingness to loop the kite in more situations, some of it is trimming the board better, but for some of it, its just the re found joy of getting to be a power pig. I freeride foil with small kites...
