Re: On Shore Wave Kites

Most onshore conditions are what surfers call your average beach break. No defined take off, tubes are pretty rare, pretty short rides. Still loads of fun on a kite. You can get into and out of those small rides better and if your lucky occasionally link a couple together. It's still surfing, and yo...

Re: What's the best thing about kite surfing?

Variety Foil, surfboard, twin tip, snow. Keeps it fresh and the stoke high. They are so different in ideal conditions and gear but crossover so much that any one helps improve the others. My foiling has hugely improved my efficiency on a surfboard. Snow kiting helps introduce variation and style to ...

Re: Are Switch kites getting any better?

Hey Felix, It looks like a real groan dealing with the internet public at times. Chin up and stick to the high road. Very cool to see your still rocking the waves unhooked with these newer bridled kites. Can you comment on how the kite flying mechanics have changed compared to C's. I kind of gave up...

Re: World Record 19m / 63ft ! Largest Wave Ever Kitesurfed

Charging in large surf is absolutely a skilled and ballsy feat. There is so much more to it than meets the eye. Forgive those who comment without relevant frame of reference and massive props to you from the rest of us. Most of us can't be bothered responding to the inevitable ignorance a feat like ...

Re: Pulleys on kites

I find that confusing! Thought in "general" pulleys will both decrease bar pressure and make for more axial turning. Axial and pivot seem to mean different things to different people. There seems to be confusion on what pulleys do for bar pressure too. Most are saying pulleys make for less, yet you'...

Re: Merry Christmas to everyone c",)

Can cut that down to:

Get to the launch. Walk to water and submerge bare hands for a couple minutes while assessing what kite to rig. Rig said kite with bare hands. Go back to car and put on wetsuit while you’re hands warm back up. Go ride with cold resistant hands.

Merry season

Re: Best bankrupt?

I fly my Best Kites with BWS Undertow Bars since day one just because I dont like the Best bar diameter. pretty easy fix no? :naughty: thick diameter, soft bar ends (no dings) , adjustable chicken loop, thicker lines :thumb: http://kiteboarder3.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/BWS-NOISE-PRO-...
