OK .. so Ozone in no way is a beginners brand ... The C4 is not a beginners kite and Ozone make a top quality product. I have been kiting now for 6+ years .. the C4 hands down is one of the best kites I have ridden to date. I am not trying to be a pro, dont need reminders of the old days .. skipping...

well as the Q kite was not developed by them ... just a bought patent ... you may find that the SPX is the same ... and may just well be the same kite as the C4 ...

btw ... I ride the C4 ... by far one of the best kites I have ever had.

kitezilla ... as I sit hear reading your post I am almost in tears laughing ... as you could almost be describing mine (and I am sure many others) first experience kiting a number of years ago. Thanks for the laugh :thumb: ... and yes ... kids these days have it easy .. :-) I now ride the Ozone C4 ....

If its Ozone .. let me know .. we can order all parts going back as far as 2006 from the factory .. only takes a week or so ...

get a set of aluminum fins .. like what come on all the EH boards ... just take them off every 2 weeks or so and lube the screw hole up or use some silicon gel when you screw them in or they will get calcium build up and it will be almost impossible to get them off

Richie .. you must be one of the Kitehouse Boyz ... you make barkers sound so appealing .. :lol: There is some rock/coral under the water at the main launch spot ... go up or down the beach 50ft and it is grass and mud/sand ... once on the water East End and Barkers offer very similar envirome...
