Temperature ranges from 40 to 65 deg. You can expect anything from moderate SW to strong N winds. I personally like the fact that there is very few kiters on the island in December. My experience is that you get 3-4 windy days a week.

well I can only imagine how surf looks like that day. We were kiting in LI sounds where as U probably know is usually flat
