Re: Best kiteboarding linked to viper kiteboarding

With a pulley there is no adjustment to the power of the kite "on the fly" by moving the bar, you have to use the sheeting cleat or strap - just like the adjustments on a normal bar. There is nothing to say what power a pully bar will be at, as it IS adjustable by the sheeting strap as said above. R...

i'm sure theres more gone into it in terms of moulding and bonding, but not in the cloth... the fibre orientation and selection/mixing process we undertook with cuben was significant. don't be fooled into thinking bigger is better just because you have some idea of A-cup budgets. I didnt say bigger...

yeh and some of them do round the world trips with them.... apples and oranges, hi tek race sales and kites. I can garuntee you there is a million times more technology going into the america's cup rigs than what has ever gone into a kite. It's like comparing an F1 car to your fully sick toyota you...

Or a thin LE with lots of grunt... i'm sure it will come now they can make the LE's this thin... Having a thick LE isnt the only way to produce grunt in the kite, and this way some of the benefits of the thinner LE could be maintained. Hopefully, if we think of the HellFish as being like the nemesis...

Re: Copying Kites

Might want to look into that a bit further, the Legaignoux boys have more than one patent on more than one type of kite. The definatly have/had the patents on 2 line and 4 line kites as we know them today. This may be. In this patent they don't cite any of their prior patents as prior art. Perhaps ...

Re: Copying Kites

Heck no one but Dominique and Bruno Legaignoux should even be making traction kites. Everyone else is just copying. Spork got it all wrong. Even the Legaignoux brothers had no business making traction kites. I just poked around and found that apparently kite-skiing already existed when they introdu...

Both vids are looking impressive, Its almost a shame there isn't a control kite out there, like a yarga or something to get a comparison as the conditions do look pretty sweet for boosting big air. No doubt the hellfish would still be looking impressive, and it would of course then be open to people...
