Re: Cabrinha fx 2018 - trimming setting on wingtip

You can see the pic I attached, all the kites you can see on the wingtip written: high bar preassure/slow turn vs low bar preassure/fast turn. You wrong in this case... Look at the pic below. All the kite the same as described. The lower scale describes turning speed. The hill scale describes bar pr...

Re: Cabrinha fx 2018 - trimming setting on wingtip

bizarre I would have tought the more closer to the wing tip you attach the kite the faster and easier you can make it turn 'cause you have better leverage hence the "lighter steering impulse" needed as mentionned on the kite A setting... I might have confused your comments. Just to be clear: Closer...

Re: 2016 switchblade and overdrive 1x trim lite bar

Also, Cabbie what is the deal with all the black smudge from the pu tubes from 2016 bars? (Maybe I missed your response from that thread also) Tight Lines Clew In Sand will cause wear on the SLF bungee security line for sure!!! If your SLF bungee security line has the thin sewn loop on the leash en...

Re: Cabrinha fx 2018 - trimming setting on wingtip

High bar pressure equates to less turning speed, because it takes more force from the rider to turn the bar, thus slower. You can't lift 50kg as fast as 25kg for instance. No, it is not the reason. Its not so hard to pull the bar when you set "high preassure bar". You feel more resistance but there...

Re: 2016 switchblade and overdrive 1x trim lite bar

The more cynical amongst us will see the 'easy to disassemble' improvements driven by the ability to change to the 'Fireball' rather than a service driven improvement! Wrong. If you ever replaced a 2015/2015 depower mainline, you would understand why the change was made. If you are going to get all...

Re: Anyone try the 2018 Drifter

?????How's the bar pressure, turning speed, and low end? sizes 9m/11m. Thanks in advance :thumb: I have been using the 2018 Cabrinha Drifter since early July. I have 12/9/7m . The most noticeable change from the previous 2017 model is the faster turning speed. To me, the low end and bar pressure se...

Re: 2016 switchblade and overdrive 1x trim lite bar

The 2016 1X 52cm is on sale here in UK at $280 equiv. (£199 incl shipping) You get the feeling they are maybe built to a price and not the Rolls Royce we were led to believe! Still a good bar. Have checked mine and some need a tug but they all worked well enough to flag out. Not sure they'd re-set ...

Hi All!
North Jaime 2017 or Cabrinha Ace 2017, which board is better for freestle/freeride? What's your choice?
Thanks for your feedback!
ACE!!! I have some bias, but I do like the ACE.

Re: Cabrinha fx 2018 - trimming setting on wingtip

Hi everyone, a little bit confused about two kinds of setting at the FX. Usually there is only options on the wing tip (A,B- bar preassure and turning fast). The FX has more tunning option on the bridels - 3 modes (freeride, kiteloops and freestyle). There is someone who knows the different and wha...
