Re: Cabrinha Moto - new Kite 2019

Jokes aside, have you tried the bar? I'm very happy with the bar since 2016, only issue I have is the knot that get's stuck when going into the tube when flagging the kite, which wears real quick and is dangerous if it tears and breaks since the kite flies away. Some internal bits on the system wer...

Re: skimboard choice

I used to have a Zap skim board but some one walked off with it one day. I now have a Phase 5 wake surfer skim. Both are the same company. Any skim will work if it is big enough. You are correct they are great for building up your balance. I personally would not buy one from a kite company as they ...

Re: Flying an IDS kite (two line safety) using one line safety bar

Cabrinha like most kite companies never "cross dress" by this I mean they never test kites and control bars that weren't designed together. So it won't show up in the spreadsheet as "working". It wasn't designed to work and they never tested it so yeah it's up to the customer to go out of spec and ...

Re: Which bar for petite person / shorter arms

Anyone with personal experience? My wife is 5'2" and uses F!reball with a Recoil control system. She can reach the trim and this system doesn't have any loose lines or tails whipping around. She rides in a waist harness. As stated above, a seat harness will make it even easier to utilize the full r...

Re: Switchblade 11m experience?

The 11m Switchblade is a hidden gem. Day after day my retailers sell troves of 12m Switchblades while I quietly ride the 11m (and 9m btw). They all tell me that it's hard to sell the 11m. The 11m turns almost as fast as the 10m and has almost the low end of the 12m. In onshore surf it produces grea...

Hope you'll learn from it :naughty:
Don't be conceited. I tried to take the high road, and you had to be a jerk. For all I know, you are full of it. Have a great day!

Re: Moving from Switchblade to FX

Omg, lol . You're on a kite, not on a cable. It doesn't work how you think it works. Maybe if you edge super-superhard, you can make the kite go in a circle around you  I agree with Nomad btw :baby: Sorry, I can't let it go. You are thinking unhooked slack and riding like on a cable - tha...
