Re: Surf board repair question.

thx

The Board Lady confirmed that it would be a waste of time if I did not add a bamboo veneer and use a vacuum bag.

I got a hold of a vacuum pump. Now I just need to locate bamboo veneer. If nothing else this will be a good opportunity to learn more about board repair.

Re: Surf board repair question.

thx for replies.

I emailed the board lady. It looks like she has gone into semi retirement and may be out of the shop for a while. I dont expect an answer soon.

I would love to be able to hang out in her shop for a couple of weeks.

Re: Global winds...getting less?

Look, all theatrics and scientific tit-for-tat aside, the reality is that a lot of very bad environmental and geopolitical shit comes with our addiction to fossil fuels. There's no arguing that simple fact. In my opinion pivoting away from it as our main energy source would be a very good thing, an...

Re: Global winds...getting less?

...Ahhh yes there it is and so predictable. It is a pity you and many like you don't put a higher value on creating an environment where personal freedoms are more important than the collective. You sound like a socialist of sorts which explains your narrative. You have bought into class envy. Life...
