Re: Kites for teaching

Hi, I teach for a shop that sells, BEST-Airush-Naish-Wainman-CORE-Slingshot-Ocean rodeo. We have 3 instructors and we can choose anything we wanted. We chose the Naish Ride's and the Airush DNA's to teach on. They just work great. For big kites we went with the Ocean Rodeo Flite 14.5 and 17.

Re: Airush 2014 Wave

I'm 175lbs and have the 7/9/12 quiver. I too thought about the 6 but chose the 7 instead and I am totally happy. I can't see myself on the 6 since I have had the 7 comfy in the low 40's mph.

Re: US Kiteboarder Association recently formed

Hi, I do not understand the "Buyers Club". I can call any shop in the US and over the phone negotiate a good fair discount. So why pay a members fee for a card with a member number? Re: Airush Sector V5 or SlayerV2 or Cypher

Dude, I weigh 175#. Got a bivy of kites..Right now my biggest is a CORE XR3 15, gets me down to around 10knots with the Cypher, holding ground but easily having fun. The Compact's (2012 model) outline and high rocker robs it of a lot of low end. It was made for down the line, high wind side shore co...

Re: Airush Sector V5 or SlayerV2 or Cypher

Hi, I have the Compact 5'6 and the Cypher 5'8. the Cypher will easily get you 5 knots less with the same kite. I found I had to be fairly powered on the Compact. I love the Cypher. I have not ridden the Sector V5 or Slayer. I too am interested in the V5 but I know I'll use it just once in awhile and...
