Re: Naish Pivot advice needed

Nice! Good to hear that. I have the 9m and 12m Pivots and don't get anywhere near the height or the hangtime I do on my Rebels. Pivots are sure fun for looping though! Rebels jump different than Pivots, a tad easier as well as far as I'm concerned but once dialed in the Pivots rock as well Yeah, de...

Re: What was your Game Changer?

For me the game changer was the first North Jaime Pro 2004, the orange one. Before that all boards kind of sucked in going upwind or riding comfort. That board opened a new world in kiting for me. The other game changer were the Bandit Dos. Real incredible range, real versatility and super fun, the ...

Re: Naish Pivot advice needed

Ok, my take on it. I (185cm and 85kg) use a 5m and 8m Pivot. They have a excellent low end so the 8 currently is my biggest size which I can ride around in 14 knots minimum. The boosting is pretty good to say the least. The Switchblade is a known big jumper and has a tad more hangtime (own experienc...

Re: What is going on at Best Kiteboarding??? Ruben, Alex gon

Well, kitesurf business is part creativity, part emotion, part math. The marketing of Best sucks big time for years now, so so much for creativity. They only scored a bit with their riders but that by far isn't enough anymore these days. Their kites are OK but do not excel as far as a lot of rider r...

Re: Whats the strongest wind you have been out?

In my windsurfing days I once went out on a 3m and got blown away with every jump, incredible, must have been around 50 knots. In the beginning of this summer I had an epic session on my 5m Pivot at the Razende Bol (Hurling Bowl translated) with winds gusting up to 50 knots as well....

Re: seat harness recommendations

I have the Mystic Force Shield for years now. Great but had the same problem of unvoluntary release. For me the trick was to turn the clip so that the opening is on the inside, never had any issue again.
