Defender 150 instead of 157! I weigh 92 kgs and had this board (broken now) and loved it. I have the 157 now and going to add a dragon s so I have 1 lightwind and one strong wind board. Comparing the 157 to the 150. The 150 can hold its edge better, the 157 planes earlier. The difference in planing ...

How many people here think that you can get ultra low end out of as converted surfboard? I have a 7ft6in mini mal board and i get going in sod all wind with my 6.3 C Quad. Yep, especially if you go without footstraps (just lots of wax) - then you can really go upwind in super sub planing wind condi...

Size 13!? Wow, with size 10 no problem, if you set the straps loose however, your toes will crawl over the edge but I think it'll give extra grip.

a samll question why so many pepole have gas guzziling monster cars???? my turbo diesal car is quick and does 52 miles per gallon, (UK) so its cheaper to run (meaning i can spend more on kites), and as it pollutes less, then it means i will still have a sea to kite in... Agree, my 120kw Volvo V70 D...

Even with a leash on the center lines like on th Gaastra (GRX in my case) you'll have to spin in opposite direction after several spins since the depower will decrease dramatically because of the safety leash.

As a GXR rider who is very pleased with its performance, I'm very curious on how this thing goes. As with the others however, I'm very curious with the size matter too.

You should decide

Had the same problem ( if you can call luxury a problem)
Went for the Gaastra.
Already had the 12 m GXR.
Enjoyed this one very much.
Wanted good depower range( Rhino not so good) and a little bit more forgiving kite (x3 hard?).
