mag

What mag is this? I guess they will not ever print anyone from Hawaii, any contests, any free riding? They might want to print skateboarding instead. :thumb: Morans... But, I see their point...promote safety... But, I for one will never wear a leach, since I almost ripped my head off with them....a ...

board

to sunstruck :) Well, I was riding the the 02 148 and I could not get to like it. Actually, it can not be compared to the the 03 The 02, well, you can NOT slide at all. The 03, you can. By slide, I mean slide sideways a bit, for turning, wave riding, etc. The 02 would just catch it's edge and you wi...

board

 I would go with the LW 136 or the 148 I personaly would not go bigger. The bigger ones are great boards but I think you can go smaller by now. The smaller ones at least, you can bring over your head when you do loops, etc. The bigger ones ride like they are on rails and go streight upwind. Goo...

Board

8) Aloha Thanx for the great comment. Yes, I think this small board handles the conditions very well, but, in between gusts, you will sink. BUt since this is the gustiest spot, our little secret spot, it does not really matter, since it is 0-30 sometimes. BUt on normal kahala days, a little on shore...

fins

 On the 136 I use 1" in the front and 1.5" in the back. I have it set up a bit like a directional, meaning I got the footstraps further back. Also, this setup up makes it awesome to ride toe-side. Great speed control, so-so for up wind in lighter conditions. Globerider kites are kick ass. I lov...

some are just fkd'

:-? Well, we have some of those here as well. Hawaii.... But, there are always asses in any field, in any sport. What we do to stop them from beeing an ass, is telling them 3 times to obey the rules, if they still don't respect them, once they try to go out, we cut their lines. Usually a little figh...
