Italy/France rentals?

Over the next couple months, are there any consistently windy spots in france or Italy where I can rent a kite? I don't have my equipment with me on a visit here but am anxious to get out on the water.

Thanks!

rentals in silvaplana (or Geneva)?

I'm in Switzerland without my kite/board & with a chance to go to
Lake Silvaplana. Is there anywhere to rent there?

For that matter, I'm now near Lake Geneva so could rent anywhere
near here & take it with me.

Thanks,

Greece can blow all day, but it's easy to find beaches that are sheltered.
I was in Paros. Great wind after about noon. On the same day one
beach is nukin and unsuitable for kids, a few miles down the road
there are families all over...

in the u.s., coast guard reports are usually low - trying to protect
the boaters vs. thrill the kiters. try airport/city reports, usually a bit
more realistic.

better yet, learn to read pressure maps - they never lie!

I'd suggest you go to another spot - this requires 20m kite and big
180 or so board. kiting well powered up really is easier.

and one other tip he gave me was to ride in the chicken loop to depower.
i was riding in the main loop and trying to use the board/kite to depower.
seems obvious in retrospect, but was a big help. mike - i still owe you
a beer...

beginner breakthrough

i was floundering last week in galveston, when Mike came by & said, "you're not so bad with the kite, but that small board (drake 147) is holding you back". he let me borrow his wake & style 180 or so & for the first time in my life (after being out about 10 times) I went out and came back to the sa...
