Anyway that's my stand up paddling experience.
Good stuff!

You guys have inspired me to get out and try it.

I have some old stock 12' Windsurfers (circa 1980) kicking around that could work -- maybe?

The new DaKine straps look really good -- very light and the adjustment capability is the best we've seen yet -- WAY better than the LF ;)

The DaKine pads are good too -- almost as good as the LF Luxury (about the same weight unfortunately).

I think Halomon has said it best ;)

I've been thrashed by some pretty large waves -- when you're in the impact zone, a 15 footer feels BIG!

I appreciate what you are trying to do with the other sites and how much work it takes, but I honestly don't find myself going to them very often.
Ditto for me.

Nevertheless....I think I speak for EVERYONE're going a GREAT job Toby!

I'd try your local shaper (Rogue Wave). I'm pretty sure he can do whatever you want, unless you're thinking of something really funky.
With my construction methods, it's NO problem to adjust the rocker to suit your style and riding conditions ;)

I fine-tune each board to suit the rider.

tiger20 -- THANKS FOR SHARING! Easily the best concert of my life was Pearl Jam when they played at the Cultural Center on Maui as a warm up for a world tour (back in '99 or 2000 I think). There were no more than 3000 people the first night and 5000 the next -- just awesome! Tickets were $20 and Bud...

Resale, thats a biggy. True, unless the buyer gets to try the board first, in which case it's a no-brainer. I got a chance to ride a Rogue Wave kite/surf board and it felt nothing like a good custom or production board. Noel, you must have tried an old prototype with a solid core and no sandwich --...
